Ok I know it's a long way off but the Tigers aren't playing till tomorrow so I need to kill some league time.
If the NSW team was picked today (after only 2 rounds) who would be in YOUR team? I am not sayig this is the theam that I want just form.
1- Gordon/Hayne
2- Tafau/Merritt
3- Lyon
4- Jennings
5- Uate/Mansour
6- Josh Reynolds
7- Adam Reynolds
8- Tamou
9- Farah
10- Woods
11- Graham/bird
12- Hoffman
13- Gallen

14- Merrin
15-Grant
16- Mannah/Fifita
17- Aubusson
18- Watmough

That team is different, dangerous & unknown. It's what you NSWmen need to beat QLD

Big risk with the 2 Reynolds boys I like it . I also like Pearce and Maloney they play together each week and if Jennings is there it's half of a backline that plays together

I like the 2 Reynolds in there - gives the halves something they have not had for a long time - GUTS and TALENT. Not halves that go missing and/or inconsistent!

Gordon at fullback and Hayne on the wing for mine. Gives NSW a legit goal kicker.

I don't think you can play the two Reynolds at SOO level. They are both solid but will not give you anything special. Aidan Sezer and Adam Reynolds would be the pairing that would compliment well with Farah for mine

Yep, if NSW selectors are fair dinkum the 2 Reynolds' should be there. Josh is one of the top 2 or 3 win-at-all-costs competitors in the NRL and Adam has plenty of skill and is a dead-eye goalkicker as well. Carney and Pearce are too hit and miss and laidback for mine.

Flicking chanels I saw the end of Daley saying he backs Pearce over Reynolds at present. Better be smoke and mirrors, otherwise needs to get his head read.

I honestly don't understand this hype around Josh Reynolds. He doesn't have enough creativity for me and this stuff about how he is tough, etc is exactly what they said about Michael Ennis. He appears tough because of his niggling and sledging. I would take Carney over him.

Yeah I agree with you here. Tonight he put in a grubber for a repeat set on the 4th tackle with 30 seconds to go in the match. 😱pen_mouth: The defensive side gets 45 seconds to take the drop-out so he affectively iced the game for the Storm. Such a stupid play. No game sense at all.

Josh Reynolds shouldn't be anywhere near a Blues jumper. Can take the line on, but that's about it. Carney should be given another go with Adam Reynolds in the seven. Give them a forward pack that will lay them a platform and the halves will wreak havoc.

I still believe Canterbury got to the grand final in 2012 in spite of their halves.

Adam Reynolds has the ball on a string when it comes to kicking - but I actually find him a little one dimensional at the moment. He rarely puts players in a hole, and rarely goes through a hole himeslf. I think last season he only had 1 or 2 line break assists.

Quality player yes, I would sign him in a heart beat at the Tigers. But I think he needs to add a few more weapons to his arsenal before he can take down the Maroons.

Agree Keating is lucky to hold his spot every week.

Agree that Keating is hopeless. Reynolds has limited skill in comparison to Carney but he puts in a hell of a lot harder than Carney does in a game. Have a look at the way he chases kicks and whenever he does make a mistake he busts his guts in the next set of six to rectify his mistake, Carney just drops his head and pouts. Guts and determination goes a long way in Origin as we know, you need the skillful players but you also need plenty of heart-and-soul players too.
