Yeah, nothing about the coach 😕

Ayoub hasn't endorsed that comment yet so it's obviously crap.

He was off contract this time and we didn't make the 8, yet he re-signed.
What are you basing your assumption on?

Yeah that's why I said 2016/17 not 2015\. Learn to read

Jeez your undies are a bit tight. Why do you think he'll leave in 2 years time if we don't make the 8?

Because I don't think the players believe in the coach and if they go through 2 more years of not making finals and taylor is still around I don't think many will be wanting to stay

Well that 24 people got more press than u and the your other 7 haters mate got????
U don't know what's going on behind closed doors in regards to sponsors and the farah issue, so don't speak to soon!!
If u think Taylor's handling of the farahs issue was well balanced and thought out, than u have absolute rocks in your head!

So you know of sponsors leaving due to Farah getting punted? Who?

Brydens… who signed the richest front of jersey in the Clubs history....oh wait...

As for Taylor's 'handling' of the Farah issue..well as far as I can see after the initial decision was made ...he has said nothing apart from Farah has been given permission to negotiate with other Clubs for 2016... as per the wishes of Robbie's manager...

I'd like to know what's going on behind closed doors...please do tell..lathami...

Geez you ask a lot of questions. I'm basing my assumptions on things I've seen, heard, read over the last 12 months, that's generally how you form an opinion on something. It would take far too long to explain everything to you just so you could pick it apart even more so I really could not be bothered

Ok. Nice chatting with you. I think you miss the point of a forum though.

What would you have expected him to say about the coach, he probably wants to play first grade !!
Then again, our NSW cup side would look good with Robbie and Ava both in it.

What is more interesting is that Brydens chose to sign the sponsorship deal during the middle of the Farah 'scandal'. Looks like a positive endorsement of Taylor and the Board's actions to me.

The Taylor thing and the Farah thing is very much like labor/liberal or holden/ford, there are people in both camps who would not swap sides no matter what happened. As I have said a million times,we just can not keep flicking coaches every time we have a bad season and we have to get behind our coaches and let them see out their contract and than make a call, but I also respect other people who have a totally different view…that is what a forum is all about

So we accept mediocrity from our coach but not the players? What a double standard and message to send not only to the players but the sponsors and supporters of the Club. We've seen the Taylor supporters attempt to spin we were a point of 11th! 11th is no more acceptable than 15th but saving the coach is more important than results.

Coaches have a very small window these days to achieve success. I maintain if any coach is not successful in moving their team out of a bottom four position after a two, maximum three year period then the likelihood of them keeping their job is minimal. This does not apply just at our club. If Taylors results remain the same or even similar as this year, then the club may see out his contract but they would be very unlikely to renew it. As for Taylor/Farah - I have always been pro Farah but not anti Taylor. However Taylor has created a situation that has forced fans into another divisive situation which the club could have well done without. With no outcome insight I question his judgement, and his ability to critically reflect on his own performance.

Yet there are people who put it all on the coach and let the players off the hook. It goes both ways. This is the 2nd coach this playing group has failed under yet they are absolved of any blame.

I am a supporter of Farah as a player but not as a leader or captain. I am a fence sitter as far as Taylor is concerned. I have a few of my own theories about why he has coached the way he has, and I've posted those previously. However I believe the Farah/coach pattern has repeated itself too many times to be a coincidence. As a result, I am no longer a Farah supporter as far as Wests Tigers go.
In my view, your statement about Taylor forcing fans into a divisive situation is completely incorrect. In doing his job as coach, Taylor freed a player from his contractual obligations for reasons unknown to us. That player and his agent then made a big public sob story out of the situation whereas Taylor did his job and then stayed out of the media.
So the divisive situation that club could have done without was created by the same player that created a divisive situation that club could have done without last year. The same player that snuck away under a fence to escape public scrutiny of his actions.

On the Farah thing Iam not privy to what has happened behind the scenes and i am not sure if there is a problem between him and the coach or other players, you read so many conflicting stories on various forums and media outlets. One thing I do know is, if you want to compete with the big boys you need plenty of speed in your no9 and a super quick passing game and Iam afraid father time has caught up with Robbie. Yes he still has a great defensive game and a good kicking game but his passing game is slow and his speed is not what it was.

On Taylor, I just do not want to go down the road we went with Potter, ideally I would like him to see out his contract, but at very worst I would give him 2016 and than judge him, and before we judge him we have to allow him to do the things he thinks has to be done to turn the club around. Than if he fails sure boot him out but in the mean time Iam willing to back him. Lets face it this is probably his last chance at a top coaching job in the NRL,he has a lot to loose, so Iam sure the Farah thing is not a personality conflict.

Anyway time will tell but if you keep basically the same playing group and keep sacking the coaches because of the teams failings you will never get anywhere
