If the fitz doesnt get the chop after this game.....

Ayshford had some awful reads in defence in the first half - he really peeved me off.

But in the second 40 he did some really good things. He is young and he needs to learn in grade. Remember, it wasn't that long ago that people were saying similar things about Lawrence and look at him now. Ayshford is too small for the forwards.

I like Fitzy, was one of my favourite players before he went to UK, but he is not up to standard now and someone else should be given a go.

Yes its true we were saying it about Lawrence and I even think you may be right but one thing to remember -LAWRENCE IS STILL younger than Ayshford

he only came into the side because of the injury.. which means its a worry he will be at centre next week.. lets get Ryan back now ASAP!

Well thats not entirely correct Golden.

Fitzy was always named #17 and the fourth man on the bench.

Brown was the man brought in to cover Daniela who covered Lawrence, who covered Benji who covered Lui.

Fitzflopsy is making a play at Tim Smiths mantle as the worst player in the NRL

Nah that`s Blake Ayshford hands down. I just wished he would have played for BRET against the Magpies on the weekend, Magpies would have got the 2 points if that was the case.
AND the Wests Tigers would`ve done it much easier tonight also.

Even the Fitzy defenders can't defend that. The worst of his games, and isn't that saying something!!

I've never rated ayshford and have no idea what anyone sees in him

No two ways about it, he was ordinary tonight, not from lack of effort, but he just looked off the pace, particularly on the wing where you want someone who is light on their feet and quick. I see him best served as a replacement hooker in the event that Farah is injured, but even then, someone like Fulton could do that job. As far as wing options though, I'd start Pritchard, Brown, Daniela and both of the NYC wingers ahead of Fitzy.

Fitz caught the bomb but fumbled the ball when he got tackled and landed on the ground. Benji did some good passes to him but Fitzy was too far back. I hope Fitz plays better next week, if he is in the team, because we can't afford to make too many mistakes against a team like Manly.

yeah there's no point in having these threads, except a bit of venting….. he won't be dropped :frowning:
