nope we should have 4 forwards on the bench

In other circumstances, I would prefer 4 Forwards, but if Benji & Lawrence are going to play as reported, Fitzy or Brown should be on this bench…

I can't believe you would prefer to have Fitzy running out for the Black Birds

Fulton can cover centre or five eighth and Ellis, Dwyer, Flanagan could cover the centres in an emergency. Remember Ellis and Gibbs aren't 100% either. Need 4 forwards on the interchange, especially against the big Canberra Raiders' forwards.

And there goes our defence in the ruck and Buttriss gets 32 Try Assists…

I doubt they will all get badly injured and have to go off.

Agree, with the injury concerns in the side, Sheens has to run with a back on the bench. If Ayshford plays he won't be 100%, if Lawrence plays he won't be 100% and the same goes for Marshall. Running 4 forwards on the bench backfired last week and it will backfire this week which is why I think we'll see Fitzy in the 17 jersey with Fifita, Dwyer and Fulton covering the engine room.

Have you forgotten last week already? We finished the game with 12 men in regular time :brick:

What if Gibbs and Ellis have to go off? They might not be 100% going into this game. We should have 4 forwards on the bench and we do have some forwards that can cover the backline in an emergency.

You're kidding yourself alien. That's why there will be at least 3 forwards on the bench. Do you think Lawrence, Ayshford and Marshall are going into the game at 100%?

No I don't but if Gibbs and Ellis are even more injured during the game and can't really play the rest of the game we will be buggered if we don't select 4 forwards for the interchange.

And what do we do if one of the outside backs goes down? Or Marshall goes down? You just don't get it, we finished last week with 12 men, do you want that to happen again this week?

If Marshall goes down we would probably move Liam to five-eighth. I would rather Liam at five-eighth than Fitzy. If one of our other backs goes down than one of Dwyer, Ellis, Flanagan can move to centre. We'll be covered.

I don't really want to get into this discussion because no one knows what will happen but didn't we end up with 12 men because we ran out of inter-changes? not becuase we had 4 forwards on the bench. What you're saying doesn't make sense unless i'm missing something.

Having said that, i agree that we should have a back on the bench this week.

Yes, the team ran out of interchanges due to injury, firstly to Ellis who was unable to return, and then Marshall which really knackered the side. In any event, we'll see a utility back on the bench this week to cover for the injured backs.

Damn you Fitzhenery look what you have done…

At least the warm up on Friday will be the most interesting of 2010...

I have a feeling Fitzy might just miss out...

Sheens will employ the use of inside ball to tire the Big Raiders forwards through the middle.

At the back end of the game we need somone who can make yards out of dummy half.

Who better to zip in and out of dummy half than the Fitz?

And let's not forget Sheens may be forced to hook his stars to preserve them for the following week if they manage to get a good enough promising lead, or if the cortizone injections wear off.
Fitzy is the ONLY player who could cover Farah, Marshall, Lawrence, Ayshford, Fulton. A key component in the business end of the season.
Raiders…..prepare to be BLITZED!! :righton:

Someone with a bit of zip is a good start.
