If you were in charge at Tigers

If you were in charge at Tigers what would you change and do? I would start off with:

*Release Tim Sheens and get a good coach preferably Craig Bellamy.
*Sign a couple of props, don't need to be popular props just sign some with good size and are not afraid to run straight at the defence.
*Sign two good centres with good speed preferably Jarrod Crocker and bring up David Nofoalama from NYC and move Chris Lawrence back to the wing.
*Release Benji Marshall, bring up the two young halves we have in NYC that five eighth is unstoppable the way he breaks the line is great to have in a team and Jacob Miller also has a good kicking game.
*Release Adam Bair, the only reason he played well against the Storm is because it was his old team.

Side afterwards:

No idea. That halves pairing would be destroyed at NRL level.
 
one good game and he is the next superstar… im probably younger than you, yet you couldn't sound more immature.
 
1 - sack sheens
2 - take out a huge ad campaign in all major media trying to tell people that our Club Captain's surname only has ONE FREAKING R in it!
3 - sack moltzen
 
Keep sheens for another season
Use ' 13 to weed out deadwood. Let players know that they are on notice. Any player that under achieves for any reason including injury, family reasons, positional changes will be let go. Quality players play well no matter the adversity. I want players that rise to challenges not use adversity as a excuse.
Use money to make a realistic offer to Bellamy. Let him rebuild the club. unlike sheens Bellamy WILL attract a better caliber of player and he WILL get the best out if any players in this group that make the cut.

Harsh but this is the only way to stop our slide and get rid of this horrible culture that wests seem to embrace. I want a cut throat, mongrel group that knows the only reason they are getting paid is because they win games.

Any finally, I would bolt the gym equipment to the floor. A bench press near a window does the same thing as a bench press near a wall.

Are you kidding with this team? Mulcahy has played 1 good half of toyota cup and Lawrence is not a winger. Completely agree with Willow

That team would get absolutely lapped in the nrl! Who controls the attack when farah is out? What happens if there are any injuries in the backs?
Back line too inexperienced ad not up to the nrl, during tough times in the season the confidence of this side would be hammered!
Also, benji had more try assists than the other best halves in the game by a long way, y u want to get rid of him out of the team is more ridiculous then the backline itself..

Can change your username but not questionable posts. I'm guessing had you not watched NYC friday night, you'd have no idea who Matt Mulcahy is
 
1\. Sack humphreys
2\. Say to sheens & the players if you are not in the top 4 mid way thru the season you and any under performing player is gone
3\. If you don't make top 4 after 26 rounds it has been a failure so sack humphreys & sheens
4\. Start looking for a coach for 2014 now because 2 & 3 will happen
5\. Never ever enter into a contract with a CEO, coach or player that doesn't have key performance indicators that allow the person to be sacked if they fail to meet their Kpi's
6.understand that Sheens will do what he wants and will use the 'golden handcuffs' he has as placed on the club to his advantage
7\. Explain to Sheens that it doesn't matter how many hours you work or if everyone believes because you work so much you deserve to stay ..the bottom line is if you don't get results your job comes under review so don't spit the dummy

This just about says it all..they say the cub is built on mateship…well it is ..only problem is that either humphreys or Sheens or both chose to get rid of a player that wanted to be a Tiger for life and replaced him with Blair...what a dud decision
 
Who would have thought that Keating and Reynolds would be a good half pairing and win a minor premiership? don't think anyone did, so what is the harm in trying?

That one was on humphreys not sheens.He claimed it was down to dollars and cents re the blair deal.He tried to get rid of Fulton too.The other half of the glue that keeps this club together.

That one was on humphreys not sheens.He claimed it was down to dollars and cents re the blair deal.He tried to get rid of Fulton too.The other half of the glue that keeps this club together.

If we had lost Fulton we wold have finished 12-15th Fulton, Lawrence and Farrah are probably the only players in the team that can tackle.
 
And some people on this forum say that Humphrey's is only responsible for sponsorship & membership not hiring & firing coach & players
 
A little bit off topic but have you guys ever watched MANASE MANUOKAFOA ever play in super rugby seems like a pretty good prop?
