Im not convinced

Not entirely but two big positives stick out:

1. We've comfortably won the yardage and field position battle in each match. Over the long-term, this produces winning football. Obviously game to game variance you might win or lose based on fluky plays and the bounce of the ball, but if you get good ball in good spot, you'll win more often than not.

2. We've overcome two-score deficits in hostile conditions over the past two weeks. Tigers of the past decade would fold more often that not in these situations, but instead we knuckled down and came back.

We've also done this missing some of our most important attacking players. Makasini and Turuva will upgrade the wings and To'a and May will upgrade the centres. There's still upside with our team.

Great post. Just you missing point 3.
The part in-between the ears. Who wants it more. Great post. Lukic

Newcastle are very similar to us at the moment. By that I mean, everyone in the 17 are contributing and they are playing with a lot of energy. Fletcher Sharp is the danger man, but really I think we match up with them and the hometown advantage should be enough to get the bacon. Of course these matches are often decided by the officals and that you have no control over

Sharpe is a weapon, but he’s playing injured. Our starts need to be better, Can’t keep giving teams 10-12 point starts.
