I'm glad willow has some standards , some of the crap I have seen on here recently makes my blood boil.
Some fool referred to our indigenous people as the ABOS and islanders are COCONUTS , dead set this forum has some sad individuals . I come on here to get all the goss about our tigers and instead I have to see this sh*t .

I liked Irvine, Sure he was arrogant and a bit up himself but he was always on the money.

There was one bloke here quite a while back, I forget his username now….he didnt converse, didnt really post much, it was obvious he had good mail and just posted info when he had it - but never replied to anyone questioning or asking him things. he didnt get into slanging matches, never quoted anyone...it didnt go from posting info to being all about him cause he had something we all wanted, he kept a lid on it all very well

As for inside info, well hang tight for a bit folks. I have had some correspondence with Grant Mayer of late, as well as a very informative face to face meeting and there may be a Q&A open to forum members prior to season kickoff. This is something I plan to work on over the next week so stay tuned for further details.

bodge was good,gave the info and nothing else.
but after his first year in first grade stopped.back then we were on a different forum every few months.

the non players who have leaked info have usually run into problems when they end up trying to pass their opinion as fact.
as ink said earlier about the fame,people ask them questions they have no clue about and then the bs starts flowing,people question it or prove otherwise and we have a 10 page stink.
they find it very hard to say i don't know.
but in fairness,most people on a forum have that problem anyway.

Healthy arguments within the boundaries of civility are quite acceptable…..

Foul mouth abuse or belittling that person for their opinion will not be tolerated as per MODS,they have the final say on all things forum....

Willow was very right in what he said the forum will not tolerate insults or mud slinging....we are all entitled to our opinion and we have a right to agree and disagree,it is the way in which we agree or disagree is the point.....the Mods do have a very good standard to maintain...

Im pretty confident that Tiger99 definitely worked at the club.

He once released pretty specific confidential info that I happened to know, and it was precisely accurate.

He (she?) once gave an update of the run-on team just before a match, I think a Warriors match, whilst the team was on the bus to the game. It was significantly different to the posted team midweek (or any noise on the forum) but 100% for the final run-on side.

People also have to remember that sometimes inside info becomes a problem, if things start coming out about injuries, team lineup etc., it can have an effect on the betting and clubs can get in big trouble. If you recall the old incident when Joey Johns was ruled out injured late before a game, but not before a big plunge against the Knights.

That is true CB. But all his posts were removed - that was my reference to 'disappeared' not that he was banned.

This forum has rules, and with that comes a set of standards. If you don't like it, then find another forum - one has already been suggested. We are here to cater for people who want to discuss things like rational adults, we will never allow this forum to become a mud slinging pit where people are allowed to throw insults at one another.

Its a pity the forum ban doesnt extend to those who label our players / officials as "germs".
