Inglis to lead new-look Kangaroos squad

slightly off topic…but why do Inglis and Latrell Mitchell feel compelled to stand over and stare down players in a very condescending manner when they score tries....anyone else notice this?

Intimidation.
I'd love a player here that does that regulalry… You have to be all over your opponent to justify it

Makes it all the sweeter when Inglis and Mitchell eventually get smashed themselves.

I was quite pleased several rounds ago, to watch Latrell skylark over Roberts, only to watch Roberts run around him to bring Broncos level, then Isaako come charging in off his right to win for the Broncos in golden point.

I like it. Same goes for when BJ from the raiders does it. Though some folks have issues when he does it compared to other players.

It wasn't justified when Inglis did it to Tedesco. He basically walked over to score the try there was nothing impressive about it and his career basically dived since doing it haha (although he did refind some form this year)

Goanna saying he wont step down…..will wait for NRL to investigate. No wonder, he knows the NRL will do nothing. He is an "ornament" to the game after all :unamused: :deadhorse:

He claims he had zero alcohol to drink that day.If he was .08+ 14 hours into the next day then he would have been very close to dead from alcoholic poisoning during the night before.I always thought he was dumb but it looks like he isnt even that smart

i got 10 dollars, that he plays the mental health card sooner rather than later, hoping he gets a section 10 and the nrl just give him spank with a feather.

If he claims he had zero alcohol, it is strange that the test was positive. Wonder if he had a blood test?

Agree with Ink, fair penalty. Let the courts deal with the rest.

He had already driven 3 hours before he was caught, what was his blood alcohol level when he started driving, and he was speeding on a highway on a long weekend, so there was plenty of traffic, yet Hadley tries to defend him, if it was Joe average he would be all over him calling him an idiot.

I believe he has been dealt with fairly so there shouldn't be any complaints.

He has put the game in disrepute he was the captain of the national team, what do you honestly think would happen if he was the captain of the cricket team or the socceroos? How drunk do you think he would have been when he left Dubbo over 2 hours earlier and to add to the offence he was speeding.Undoubtedly the courts will deal with the offences but being drunk behind the wheel and speeding is probably one of the worst ways to endanger the public especially considering it was a long weekend with extra traffic on the road.It is not the 60s or 70s anymore
Apologies for the rant

Absolutely disgusted and disappointed with the Inglis ruling.

He took the lives of normal every day people in his own hands and got behind the wheel while drunk. He then chose to speed and further risk peoples lives.

Anyone excusing this is not a real Tigers fan because let me tell you there is no way in hell a Wests Tigers player would have got off with such a small slap on the wrist.

Adam Elliot is a fantastic kid who does a lot of work in the community, he got screwed by Greenburg.

You really have to wonder if the lunatics are running the asylum or if the likes of Phil Gould Nick Politis and Russell Crowe have some sort of pay as you go scheme to avoid their players being treated like the struggling teams.

I agree 100%, I said the same thing a few posts back, it is 3 hours from Dubbo to Lithgow, how drunk was he when he left, plus all the other factors at play including speeding.

I dont think he was drunk
He was over the limit
He said he got back to his hotel at 11pm or 1am…I assume he then slept but who knows?
If he was still drinking all night, hadnt slept...then I think hed have gone high range and much more than the 0.08 he blew(.08 was the legal limit when breath testing was first introduced)
I assume he slept when he returned before leaving. I doubt there was much difference in him from time of departure to time of arrest..im not excusing him but it appears he didnt leave the pub and get in the car and drive pissed as some here are making out .
No excuses he did the wrong thing and has been and will be punished
