Injury Update- Galloway and Gavet, After Bye

Here's how i'd expect it to play out in R19.

Galloway - bench
Anasta - bench/possible start
Koroibete - NSW Cup
Gavet - NSW Cup
Reddy - bench/NSW Cup
Tuqiri - NSW Cup

Galloway will be short of a run. Could be used as an effective impact forward replacing Woods initially. Woods would then replace Blair who would return on for Galloway.

Anasta I would suspect would come into the team for Thompson who plays this week. I feel Sue has earned the right to start ahead of Thompson and play alongside Fulton.

Koroibete faces a tough situation. Hasn't done a lot wrong and would be valuable in attack but he's simply a victim of others taking their opportunities. Nofa and Timmy rightly deserve to keep their spots. Some have suggest Ayshford or Lawrence could play back row. I doubt that will happen this season. A stint in NSW cup won't hurt Marika.

Reddy's place depends largely on the make up of our bench. If Anasta starts he could get a run on the bench. Thompson and Reddy would be fighting for the one bench spot in my opinion.

Gavet - Tuqiri are both in the same boat. Short of a run and not really required at this point so it makes perfect sense to play them in state cup.

yea if koro comes back i think he should go to NSW cup to practice his catching under the high ball to get some confidence, and u cant drop nofo or simona they have been playing out of their skins for the WT and i think the NSW cup team would be happy to have koro and big T on their wings

Anyone but Anasta please. He's the Bondi edition of John Morris. Biggest tourist in WT history. Had his last hurrah in 2010 but he's way past it now. Thanks mate… no.

Galloway off the bench.
Koroibete to NSW cup...(maybe)

I think your assessment of Anasta is absolute rubbish. He has given great service to the team and the club, playing anywhere asked of him and doing lots of solid defence…a completely different role to what he played at the Roosters. I think he has been terrific for us. A great stabilizing influence and a solid leader on and off the park. All credit to him!

I think Koroibete has enough defensive issues to work on - and the two current incumbents have been good enough - that the club would be better served if it didn't rush him back.

The good thing about Blair going ok at prop is it means Galloway can be brought back in gradually via shorter stints off the bench.
