I was reading this thread and was puzzled as to why adults would be sulking over one man’s views on a podcast.
It quickly became apparent that ***his detractors were all saying EXACTLY the same thing.*** Same phrasing, same tired insult.
It doesn’t take much to work out who is who on here.

His detractors were all saying the *same thing?* Could it be that they are his detractors because they all dont like an aspect of the bloke, and maybe its the same aspect that they dont like????

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck,,,,,chances are it is a duck and other people can see its a duck.

I listened to the podcast and think he is sounds like a big noting blow hard. Talks up how successful he is and then acts incredibly unprofessionally by blowing WT dirty laundry that was carried out privately. Totally unprofessional and the club has done the right thing having nothing to do with the bloke. I bet he doesnt discuss Lottie Vidor on public podcasts.

WT have just finished another poor failure of a season and are undertaking a review, considering sacking the coach, discussion about Luke Brooks, discussions about signings etc.......but THIS is the thread that made you join. Yeah righto. You are either an alt or a friend of old mate.

Why are you so upset about a podcast? The guy made a lot of valid points and something a lot of people agree with.

Not upset about the podcast at all. I have an opinion about it and an opinion of the podcast guest and that is the end of it.

I do however have an issue with being labelled, baseless accusations and assumptions being made about me for no reason other than I dont like the bloke in the podcast.

You’re being critical of the person giving the message, not the message. I could’ve read what he said on a toilet wall and I still would’ve agreed with it.

By taking away from the overall message and focusing on the credentials of the bloke you are coming across as a sycophant, or again a bootlicker.

Any chance of any actual evidence of me defending Pascoe? Or would expecting any actual facts or evidence cramp your ability to label me and make assumptions. Never let the truth get in the way and all that?

I think he talks a bit in hindsight about stuff. Feel like Teddy, Moses and Woods were gone no matter what. It was obvious they didn't want to be at the club ant more.

FWIW I’ve gone back and edited a couple of my earlier posts in this thread that were way too unnecessarily personal. Wasn’t needed.

Other than once incident with teddy when going to Canberra , didn’t see any inside info that even fans of other clubs don’t know. He is no expert or insider , and he does not know anymore than the rest of us the machinations of how clubs operate.

That was my point. The interview is billed as some kind of insider reveal, both the subject and the blurb. So I listened to 20 mins, and other than a handful of stories where he met some folks (I have also met folks at Tigers, so it's not so special to meet them), he just sounded like a passionate punter who wants the club to improve and has ideas.

Which is all fine - everyone on this forum is also passionate and yearns for improvement, and has ideas.

Doesn't make it an insider's take however, and he literally says inside about 15 minutes "I want to stress I don't have inside knowledge of what's going on at Tigers".

I'll concede I didn't listen to the rest - I didn't have time and it got a bit boring for me - so I asked if there was anything more to it. I got a bunch of downvotes but no actual feedback.

No offence dude but you are the OP and your title is "Inside Look Into Tigers Management". I think that kicked off some trouble because there wasn't anything "insider" at all about it within 20 minutes; but he explicitly says he's not an insider and his stories are 3+ years old.

Everyone agrees we need to do better as a club, but getting your opinion on a podcast doesn't make it a more valid opinion, right?
