Instead of buying another Prop

I think Tigers should put the effort into D.Fifita over the offseason like they did with Andrew!! It will save us $$ and imo with Folkes training him hard he will reek havok like Andrew!! He has the talent but he needs some-one to ulock it. How awesome would it be replacing one Fifita with another GO TIGERS

Unfortunately for David, he doesnt have much between the ears where it all counts.

Ouch…thats rough.

Props arent known for their IQ's.

And Ive been watching him pretty closely and I reckon he is starting to come good.

IMO he isn that far off.

He has really come along in leaps and bounds hasn't he Simon?

His last two matches have actually exceeded his NYC form of last year. Coach Flatcher seems to have finally woken him up as his defensive workrate has really grown and he is running hard and straight lines and combining it with his fend. Whereas in the eralier rounds he ran sideways alot as has Andrew and looke dto fend his way through without leg drive backing it up

We still need another top line prop imo. Galloway and Gibbs are good, but at most other clubs they're the 2nd best prop. Payten's defence is good, but doesn't make nearly enough metreage as a prop, end of next year will be perfect to let him go.

If both Fifita's pan out it will be interesting and awesome. 2 wrecking balls.

Spot on…....he was sloppy around the m,ark and a little lazy getting back at times.

Last couple of games I havent noticed this at all.

And he is definitely running straighter.

I dont see why both Fafitas will be running around in firsts next year.

inteligent posts on this topic.instead of big dollars on new players how about taking him to a high performance athletes trainer over the off season and really get him in tip top shape physically and mentally.seeing his brother fire will give him confidence also.

Not only confidence but also competition & motivation!! People didn't think Andrew was ready before the season kicked off but when he got the call he went to another level.. Him & David are the same build etc` etc David just hasnt learnt how to use his size yet. I would rather build our own prop then buy another Cayless :righton:

Aaron Woods will be back next year and he was the equal of Andrew in the u/20s!

Ahh, forgot about him. He's just as good as Fifita and probably a better rounded player.

David Fifita certainly has the potential to mirror the form of Andrew, the last few weeks as others have mentioned have shown some real improvement and maybe he's starting to turn the corner and realise that with hard work and perseverance he can really make something of himself playing league.

Aaron Woods will also be thereabouts next year IMO. Despite not playing this season he has continued to grow and will train with the fulltime squad in the offseason, I won't be surprised if he makes his debut next season.

Thought he was looking elsewhere as he thought he'd find it difficult making it here and following in his bros footsteps

i thought the dragons signed him ?

if he is still with us than lets play him now imo hes just as good as andrew

If Woods Hammy come good he will be the big improver next year. IMO he was way in front of the Fifta boys in last years NYC side. Have missed the last few Bret games, good to hear David is coming good, he was average earlier on in the season

I would agree. I've been hoping to see him this year, but obviously injury has taken his year away. I really like the prospect of A Fifita, but I truly believe Woods will exceed him on the back of his discipline and skill.

Aaron Woods is the equal of Jason Ryles at the same age, and with the right guidence from Sheens & Folkes, should go on to play for his State & Country one day… (didn't he play his first senior football in Qld    )
