no my info isnt first hand knowledge infact i only heard rumblings of this about a week ago and it wasnt until someone whos info is as solid if not more solid then mine the blanks were filled in that it all became clear and made sense.

See there is a secret community other to this where we dont discuss our info on this site until we can confirm it with each other which is why some of us who post the info have a high success rate of it infact being true.

Ink and other constantly accuse me and others of being attention seekers when we are only trying to bring you guys the facts, ive withheld naming names on here publicaly out of respect for the people who gave me and others the info, not because of the club, this club has lost my respect and until they fix this they will never regain it.

Geo,
from all that's been written on this thread it got to be reason if the rumors are correct,
All i'm saying is i'm relieved it's not because it's a crap side,
If other forces are at play, they can be fixed.

but you might be trying to say something else, or have a different spin on this, i'm not 100% sure from your post.

Apologies …I seem to having a bit of an understanding issue ATM

Yes........ it appears the reason for the absolutely pathethtic display against Souff's on Sunday may be due to off-field issues and not cause of talent...

However...to me that makes the loss against Souff's even more PATHETIC....

Off-Field issues can always be fixed....no matter the outcome

What I would like to see....I don't think as a fan it's too much to ask the each time the players take the field that they put in and give it their ALL in the Wests Tigers jersey...

We're on the same page my friend…, we're saying the same thing, i'm just trying to find a positive in that disgraceful performance, that they can turn it around if they fix the problems.

Is there a precedent where a potention top 4 side had "in-fighting" during the year and went on a lossing streak only to turn it around and win the comp?

there must be some, i can't think of one of the top of my head. Plenty of teams have reallied from adversity to the finals, but has someone done it while fighting within the club. Would seem much more difficult.

Can we get some news please? The last like 4 pages of this thread have been just people fighting between themselves.

I don't get it. Are players actually rebelling by not playing? Is there talk of Moltzen's contract being reduced because of the whole long-service pay fallout? Who is argueing with who?

I just would like to know whats going on in the club from people who might have an idea, just a non-confusing synopsis would be nice.

I dont like the fact that if true Benji has such an impact on the situation, fair enough he is sticking up for a mate but there are other ways of doing this.. He could really hurt the club, do we really want him here if he is going to carry on like this??? Whats to say he wont do it again he cant just hold the club ransom, imagine what would happen if Sheens was sacked or contract not renewed or if Tuiaki isnt offered a new contract, i really hope they sort out the problem with Moltz but i also think they need to put Benji back in his place if he wants to threaten to strike again stand him down no one is bigger then the club.

nothing i posted in that thread is false, you are just a hater and have been from the get go.

so ill put it out here so everyone can stop arguing THIS IS ONLY A RUMOUR

moltzen in 08 signed a contract mainly incentive based on the number of FG games he plays each season

he gets injured v cowboys

WT are declared to be 100k over the salary cap because the muppets in admin screwed up gibbs and farahs juniors clause in the salary cap

WT activate the clause in moltzen contract about amount of FG games he plays in a season and decide to cut his deal back to the minimum FG match payments which i think is $1200 so add that up over 18 games and thats all moltz is gonna get paid for the rest of 2010.

The only reason WT admin activate this claus is to keep them under the salary cap because of their initial stuff up

benji asks the 2 players involved to sacrafice their money for this season to be back paid in the next season or 2 so tim can get his full salary for 2010

both players refuse to do so and the rest is history

this is only a rumour and dont take it as fact

Moltzen's contract was upgraded and extended the begining of 2010…try to keep up...

Wests Tigers has today extended the contracts of three of its most exciting young players in full-back **Tim Moltzen,** winger Beau Ryan, and centre Blake Ayshford.
>
All three were off contract at the end of next season but their new deals tie them to the club until the end of the 2012\. .
>
Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys said the club was thrilled to be able to extend their contracts.

better convene another meeting of the secret society..

LU is not a reliable source....

im hearing he has an incentive based contract on number of FG games played in his contract, similar to what kirk reynoldson or what ever his name was who played for newcastle, and smith wouldnt select him when he was only 2 games away from activating the second year clause in his contract.

and if it was upgraded at the start of 2010 for the 2011 and 2012 seasons wouldnt that mean the 2010 part of his contract he was still on the 08 contract he signed for this year. the upgrade would take effect next season not this season? otherwise there would be no reason for the blow up

like i said his contract was upgraded for the 2011 and 2012 season his 2010 contract which is part of the original contract he signed would not be part of the upgrade try to keep up…..

Maybe…except it becomes a new contract when it's signed.....which may or may not have addiional payments or bonuses builtin FG games Rep honours etc...

Unless you are the club, the player or his manager all that you hear is speculation or guessing...just as I am.....

this is true we are only guessing what tims contract details, but i highly doubt a the club would give him significantly more money at the start of 2010 when they would of had the cap sorted well before his upgrade and he was already under contract for 2010\. I doubt any of the upgrades filtered into this season, several reasons for this are

* he was already under contract
* when he was upgraded the salary cap would of been sorted out and with the manovering they had to do to get lote suggests to me they wouldnt of had the money to give tim extra this season
* whats transpiring now

what i posted is only rumour but it comes from 2 reliable sources one of who posts on here

if its fact i state it as so ink, and if its rumour i state it as so like i did there, but there is no win with you is there or cant you comprehend sarcasm?????

Ok since we are playing guessing games….What about Benji's upgrades......He has never been off contract do you think the paid him is '08 money agreed to.... in '09...or then all the way up to 2015.....
