Heleta has a great turn of pace. Siro and JLJ have been the best in the first half. I'd like to see Marsters get a bit more early ball.

67' - TRY ON DEBUT! Charlie Taylor scores after some nice lead up work from Heleta! 14-6 KTC

68' - Hunt converts the try from directly in front. We now lead 16-6 over the Bulldogs

73' - ANOTHER TRY! Chance Peni scores the easiest of tries, stepping off his right foot to go straight through!

74' - Hunt nails another conversion from near the posts, making it a 22-6 lead over the Bulldogs

78' - TRY!!! Hunt speeds away after taking an intercept to run 85 metres and score! Strong finish from the team!

Interesting first half.

Sironen was strong ran hard and off loaded and passed more which he should do in FG

Really impressive and interesting for me was Joel Edwards. He played 20 mins at hooker and looks like they are developing him to fill the Halatau role. I was actually really impressed by his passing game he looked like a decent version of Elijah Taylor setting up the halves either side at lock or then slotting into dummy half.

Maters was strong although through a stupid ball towards the end of the half.

Justin Hunt looks too good for this grade but he often does he is kind of between grades perhaps a quality NSW cup and good FG back up.

JLJ pushes the team around the field well

Peni under pressure well he was until Stanley sadly did another knee. Wingers didn't get much chance while Helata looks solid but short.

Props were ok not FG standard not bad.

As this didn't post at hafl time I'll continue my wrap.

Sironen was really good, Masters really has potential and Edwards was super busy and everything was good looks a different player to earlier in the season.

Helata was MOM but only just shaded Justin Hunt who imo was slightly better but both impressive and wouldn't look out of place in FG

I think we will see Edwards playing the first 20 mins at hooker in 2017 with someone then coming off the bench for the last 60 mins and Edwards then playing as a back up to the forwards as an upgraded version of Halatau

Yeah that was probably Sirro's best game for a while. I'd have him produce a few more of those at this level and then get him to carry on to first grade. If he can't be consistently good at this level he probably won't stand out in first grade. Good to see him running hard for a change, and find touch with a nice little kick to the corner too.

Heleta should replace Nofo in the top squad imo. Both similar styles but Heleta seems quicker and much better under the high ball, and also gets good metres. Will be interesting to see if he can play the same way in first grade as he is a Matt Utai style player. May well be too short in the end to play wing - fullback he'll be taking less contested kicks than on the wing so height is of lesser importance.

Yes it does seem like Edwards is being groomed as the next utility backrow/hooker. Did a decent job but doesn't seem to have the impact in defence i was expecting.

New boy Taylor looked quick but as is the way with all of our grades our wingers very rarely get passed the ball.

A solid but unspectacular performance.
