Is Blair still unwanted?

I'm starting to like him. I thought he was great out there. I didn't see any mistakes and he just seemed real classy tonight.
He has been good since he has started playing at prop.

Since he started playing Prop & in tight he has played really well.

Adam Blair was never meant to be an 80 minute player. Coming to the tigers he slimmed down looking for speed and endurance, but he's never had the workrate and discipline to be on the park for the duration, and as far as I know (someone will correct me) he was always an interchange player for Melbourne. His best game of 2012 was the last of the season against his old club, and he went hard till he was buggered, then subbed out. I think he'll do well on rotation as a prop now that we've stopped trying to shoehorn him into an unsuitable role.

I have sat here or 2years and watched people bag this guy out - Suheens signed him up for a role he was not suited for -he needs to play in the middle -tough it out kie he did with Melbourne - Potter has found a role fo BLair with WT

Hope you all understood the alcohol speak - this was done slower and more methodical
I was waaay more patient than others with Blair, was prepared to give him time (maybe too much) to get into a groove
then even I was losing patience, and the media was starting to call him out as a bludger
but now it seems something might finally be sinking in

The move to the front row has definitely been a good thing for Blair but its not the only thing. He's running with much more venom and hitting the line harder. Previously he was relying on the heighington shuffle and trying to spin out of tackles after stopping at the line. It's taken a heck of a long time but he's finally starting to provide good contributions on a regular basis.
It was interesting to hear Matty Johns talk about Blair whilst he was working with the storm back a few years. He Made note of the fact that he was a talented footballer but one that until he found his direction had struggled. That''s much as it has appeared at WT's. He struggled last year and in the first few months this season. Now though he's found some form, he's found a role which works for himself and the team and the hope now Is that he will kick on here. Nothing the club has suggested hints at him being unwanted. More the opposite. The past month has made even more sense in that light.

great to see him finally playing well. hes copped a hell of a lot of criticism (me included) and good to see he seems to have found his niche at WT.
Blair is pretty much like every other back-rower at this club (bar Ellis and Fulton's defense) who has struggled to really find their way somewhat. I think it's a bit difficult playing with Benji and Farah and the width sometimes they play with.
He's move to prop has seen him find his role. He's very strong, mobile, has great footwork and usually a quick play-the-ball.

Blair, the silent achiever, that is what I would describe him. At prop, he has found a position, he can call his own. His work rate is good, he works hard at it, keep on and we will have a different opinion of him in West Tiger's town.He has not been noticed, but does his work, workmanlike and I would say, he is a hero of our own. Go Blair go.
