IS IT TIME FOR SHEENS TO MOVE ON ?

I voted 'no' it's a bit early in the season to be punting coaches plus I thought I should balance out Bug's vote if/when he votes (just joking Bug)

No. Stability is important, we have a system where we recruit ok and bring through lots of juniors, sure he might not bring out the best in terms of aggression and our system places no emphasis on defence but we have talent and a good squad - that x factor.

Look at Parramatta, gone through Smith, Taylor, Anderson and are now coached by Kearney. They have lost so many quality juniors and have recruited poorly. Each coach they moved onto didn't really improve the team much and severely hampered their ability to build a club wide system and squad.

Sure we can look at Des and the Bulldogs, or Bennett and the Dragons in recent times, but those quality coaches are few are far between, we could just as easily end up with a Furner or Elliot…

I like Sheens I like the way he brings the young guys through and gives them a go. But we need to play like Canterbury Manly and Melbourne and if that involves a new younger coach to help Sheens out with playing footy 2012 style then so be it. Not sure how good a coach Georgallis is.
I wonder if they are mates they don't seem as buddy as Sheens previous off siders.

I think our problem is more with the players than the coach.I really think this group may have missed their chance last year and the year before and are now on the decline. I just don't see another grandstand finish in them this year. They don't seem to have the speed and power of some of the other sides. anyway the next few weeks will tell the story and where I think they are a chance on Monday i don't think we are a chance against the rabbits or the bronks. It just may be a long season

For the amount of Sheens bashing that keeps coming up it appears that in reality more supporters like him than dislike him.

Look at 2010 and 2011, two tremendous roller coaster seasons. I recall around this time last year we wanted to sack 3/4 of the team and all coaching staff and look how our season went. I think we should have kept Folkes though. I think he was what brought more discipline and toughness to the team. I think you'll find Sheens would have wanted him to stay however management would have punted him as a money saving exercise and employed Skandalis at a cheaper rate. I don't think Skando will demand the same respect from the players however as he only finished playing himself not that long ago. You can't be a trainer on the coaching staff when you only finished playing with half the team a few years ago. But NO do not sack the coach.

2 or 3 loses in a row and people lose it.

Some of us sound as bad as dragons fans…

We all need to relax and deal with the injuries and the maturing of our tremendous prospects..

Folkes left because he saw the Dragons as a more viable option of getting a job as the head coach at Saint George than at the Tigers

Do you really think the Tigers just let him go

So you voted vote "yes" or "no" ? As you said that he should go if he could be replaced by Bellamy or Hasler.

Bloody hell we have some negative buggers on here. Why do you call yourselves Tiger supporters if the CEO is hopeless the coach and his staff ate hopeless and all the players are either big heads or hopeless - find another team to try to drag down to your level

Hear, hear !

My impression is that some of 'true blue fans' want wholesale change: get rid of Marshall (useless, cannot kick), Farah (ditto), Ayshford (reserve grade, too slow), Woods/Groat/Fulton/Blair (too soft), Sheens (cannot coach) etc., however, they are silent on the possible alternatives http://www.weststigersforum.com/forum/posting.php?time=1332478497#
