Just remember Richards kicked two out on the full in earlier games this season

Can't remember the last time Richards caused headaches with his kick offs. I've noticed this for a couple of weeks.
The point I am making. He is not even trying to.
He is kicking it end on end like a shot for goal. Easy to catch.
Clearly it is under instruction. Once we were down by 12 he gave himself the green light or the coaches did to try some spirals.
I know it is something little. But to me it smacks of a conservative, robotic and over coached rubbish.
Previously he had a decent chance to get the ball back and cause some chaos. But no no no no no to risky you might kick it out on the full. No wonder they looked motionless and like robots out there.

His kick offs are too short always landing on the 20 or 15 mark & teams are marching down over halfway by the 5th. PAT KICK IT DEEP FOR F SAKE !!!!

As Geo said, he put a curly one into touch. If we can get back 1-2 kickoffs per game, that is a decent strike rate.

yeah have been noticing that too, his kicks have been offering nothing and it was something the commentators always mentioned, haven't heard anything in ages and the kicks look very mundane
