I believe our team has slightly improved but so has theirs also. Then not having Twal - a defensive workhorse - is a big big loss.

Then you have to consider that it's another year that (Eels)specific group of players have played together, with the addition of Matterson who has no doubt added to their team.

well it had Jennings in it so yes lol
no seriously i think about the same this team might very marginally be better

Yes, we're also playing with a harder edge than last year. More mongrel in defence is what we need to have any chance of winning this game, but it's going to be a tall ask with some of our players missing.

Both on paper and on form our current side is better, but I still expect Parra to win by around 12 points or a bit more. They have us covered in most areas

gosh the effort by Packer in that game was terrible.
This team has more toughness in the forwards than last years team

It is a much better side and we are playing better than anytime in the past 4 years Benji at half will be the difference he'll be in Bitchs ear all night long our forwards are showing a lot more particularly the last 4 weeks

The team is defending much better than any tigers team from recent memory. I really think we will get in their face and try to unsettle them. We’ve got aggression which we didn’t have before. Please please please win this game for your supporters.

On paper seem close but 2020 team with improved team performance & attitude will beat the 2019 side by 12+ points easy at their form at round11.

Post-Titans game this year we have competed against the better teams, but come up short. Last year, I had no confidence about which team would turn up each week.

These past 6 weeks, we have been consistently solid in defence, albeit the occasional lapse against Cowboys and Souths.

We've let in 77 points and have not had more than 20 scored against us in a single game in the last 6 weeks.

Looking back at the Panthers game, we were actually pretty unlucky. First try was off a bad knock-on call on Garner and Noffa didn't get enough on a bat into touch which Crichton was able to collect and score.

Souths was always going to be tough without our regular centre.

Canberra was close, but ultimately we had nothing in attack.

We'll give this a shake, but it will depend on our intensity in defence. Manly showed that Parra can be rattled with good line speed and hard defence which we have shown we are capable of.

If we kick to the corners and nullify their back 3, we'll go a long way to winning this one. Hopefully Benji and Walters are on this week.

Not really. Hopefully Madge has had a bit more time to squeeze every bit of talent out of the squad.

On an individual level, pretty similar.

As an overall unit, I'd say we're better.

Madge is already showing that he's shifting the club from a mediocre to competitive culture.

On paper the same. On the field fitter, better organised and with a better structure. Players still in the team playing better. The replacements line ball.

Overall a better team
