Is this our worst loss in the past decade?

Worst & most embarrassing loss in the history of the wests tigers could actually be a blessing in disguise to force change at the joint

I think this loss will do a lot more harm than good.

Something like this makes you turn on your teammate very quick. You start blaming each other and lack trust even more.

We will probably sack a coach after this and deservedly so. Others here may even argue that it's good for the club to sack him but it's another dark mark on the club. Opposition players and managers and coaches see everything.. they're not that dumb. They know a sinking ship when they see one.

This Dogs game is right up there. Is it the worst?

Knights game from a few years back.

The big loss to the Cowboys in 2014.

The big loss to Melbourne earlier this year.

The Origin Cowboys loss (birth of Taylorball)

Your pick?

And to all of you out there hurting, keep your head up.

This one is probably the worst in my books.

I don’t think I’ve been this angry after a loss in such a long time. We get smashed by the second worst team in the last 20 years or something like that. The players should hang their heads in shame. I hope they read the forum and see how disgusted we are with them. They are on big money , get to live their dreams and put a performance like that. Disgraceful!!!!!!!

I’m not even angry anymore…. Just numb.

Couldn't agree more.
No heart and no interest. Clocked off before they went on. The clean out needs to be now, contracted or not.

Except none of us will agree on what those changes should be. Where would you start?

The biggest win by a wooden spooner team in last round of the season in premiership history. Toothless Tigers.

Names, please?

I don’t want to name names but they know who they are ?

The saddest part is us loyal supporters who probably earn no way near what some of these players get paid spend our hard earned money on membership, merchandise and defend our support when ribbed by mates and work mates and then have to watch this heartless performance. If most of us went to work tomorrow and performed like WT we would be perform counselled or shown the door. Where does WT go from here and do some of these players actually want NRL as a career or should they look for alternative employment

Who are
Who are
Who are we
We’re the worst tigers team in history

Young teams are inconsistent though and don't have enough shared experience to show any resolve or adaptability (as a group). The lack of composure and trust has been visible all year, through their attitudes, effort and even body language.
Starting to believe the depth of our problems are a bottomless pit and despite a poor year from them, can't help but feel management are responsible for another crisis of a year.

This is what annoys me most about the club and how it manages anything.
Their focus and commitment to achieving success seems non-existent when we're failing in so many areas. Also, seeing as we haven't made the finals yet again shows the whole organisation crumbles under pressure really.
It's humiliation after humiliation and it's why I wish they'd stop with the masquerade of trying to be a club that we're clearly not.

This sinking feeling is never going to go away until we improve but realistically we need some seismic changes in our recruitment (ability) and roster, for any surging success IMO.

In all fairness, this was a bit of a nothing game. Chin-Up fellas, there has been much, much worse.

The game in 2016 (I think) where we got pumped 52-0 against the sharks, in front of a packed Leichhardt for a spot in the semis stands out for me. Other worthy contenders include the 8-0 loss against a depleted Cowboys in 2017 (worst game of footy ever) and the loss to th e Warriors in 2011 in the preliminary final.

While this was up there, its not on the podium for me.

BTW - the worst game, was the loss in 2002 to the Baby Broncos who fielded a park footy team while the regulars were on Origin duty (now that was bad)

Very disheartening. Today's showing is clearly the end for coach and certain players.

That’s what annoys me, you’re probably right about the coach but very few players will suffer and that’s the issue.

when all the shows and all the ex players say this is not acceptable, and theyve been saying it all year, and today was the worst in the history of the game, we cant go thru this next year, there wont be any fans left, i know heaps of fans who wont watch west tigers anymore, 3 years and we have gone backwards, i cant take it anymore

Atm I'm embarrassed to be a Wests Tigers supporter...but I'll be renewing my out of town membership for 2022.
