Isaiah Papali’i #265

that's a bit rough. There's one guy you're having a crack at for not saying he's coming and another you're having a crack at because he is saying he's coming. Or, have I read that wrong
Yes you have.
No crack at API as he’s open and straightforward.
The other guy is the one I am having a crack at for not being able to speak one sentence.
Who knows, if he did he might play a better game this week.👍🏻

he will be at new Zealand is my opinion, we will roll over and get some compensation from NZ or a player maybe.
He will not be at Parramatta

I dunno, despite what all our insiders are saying I just don't see how it's possible that he will be here.

The words coming out of his own mouth are bizarre.

And I don't buy the whole he's concentrating on this year rubbish - he can word what he's saying much much better if that were the case. He's a pretty smart dude.

"I’m sure everyone wants to hear it but I can’t say anything just now." ?!

"Like I said I can’t really comment on it so we’ll just leave it at that." ?!

Just a simple, yip that's next year.

IP has said very little to ease tigers fans minds on this so we don't really know whether he is pushing hard for a release or finally given up and is just sick of journalists bringing it up every 2nd day

But one thing is for sure if he really does still want out he has pretty dug himself a hole with his excuses

BA said he wants to stay at pawwa and apart from just not wanting to join us He really has no excuses as homesick etc really don't cut it when pawwa is next door to us

So than with warriors and going back to women doesn't cut it either as he was willing to stay at pawwa of we released him

So if another request Congress after the test series we just need to tell his manager we have nothing more to say than we will see him at tigers training on whatever date and leave it at that

Paps will be here next year.

I can appreciate your confidence man, But I just don't see it so clearly...
Closest I've seen him say anything was
"At the end of the year, I'll sit down with my manager and look at it" Or words to that effect...

Look at what? He looked at it last year...
My opinion is - If anyone in the club has convinced themselves that it's a walk through sure thing - Is doing themselves a dis-service.

There is no reason for him to bring that speculation and drama around himself when he's trying to play good footy at the Eels. It has him playing down on usual form a couple weeks ago, Until the manager calling Sheens and confirming story....

For mine, That's just the manager buy time, And getting the heat off him coming into finals.... He's definitely been playing better since the noise died down...

You may something that I don't, Having employed hundreds of people over the years - Gets you a fairly good read on people....
There's too many gaps in it, He's non-committal, Keeps referring to his manager sorting it, Parra haven't replaced him....

I don't trust any of it

When he signed, he was coming to play in the forwards with Luciano and Kelma, both good players at their best. We were a bad team but not the wooden spooners getting lapped most weeks. He got along with our head coach who coaches his nation. Tamou was here for some experience in the pack and it looked like we had a decent young spine. (Now none of them are committed long term). How anyone can be very confident he’s coming is beyond me.

Hopefully Parra’s season comes to a end in a few days. Than we should get a better idea what is happening. Personally I think he will be at the Tigers unless his management can pull the deal of the century off.
