Well im not 100% Sure but i think with souths parra and Nz he only played fullback so id say hes right.

Well, that's debatable.
 
Sheens see's Moltz as our long term fullback. I can see where he's got this idea from, but im not convinced Moltz agree's with him and thats the problem.

Its clear when everyone is fit Tim Moltzen will be our fullback, so if thats the case, leave him there now to grow as much as possible. At the moment, it looks like he will be shifted into the spot when Lawrence comes back…...very risky leading into the finals. Id rather get it sorted now. One thing i know of is he isnt a centre. Is there any other centres out there like him at the monent? Im not a fan of a timid and small centre, i just cant see it working. He'll have some nice touches here and there, but overall it will fail. Its fullback or State Cup IMO.
 
Another thing, when asked about the panthers offer, he had no comment, which means hes seriously considering it otherwise he would have said NO WAY. so Bug our wish could come true soon enough.
 
i was wandering around looking for someone to answer this question

if sheens is using moltzen at fullback for his attacking flair, while overlooking his defensive catatonia, why did he let gallant go?

it seems clear to me now that had
a)moltzen stayed injury free last year and
b)lui stayed injury free last year
we would not have made a play at mckinnon, and this would have been the second season as the full time no 1 for moltzen

Just watched it now on IQ, unbelievable.

What's funny is that Sheens used Slater as an example of a great fullback because of the way he attacks the ball, then immediately after says fullback is Moltzen's best position. Moltzen doesn't attack the football, in fact the football has more chance of attacking him!

Sheens lost the plot a long long time ago. He is the only person I have ever insulted on this forum. I challenge any person who watched Fox sports tonight not to put the man into the category of 'IMBECILE'.

Deadset. He is unbelievable !! Can anyone imagine signing him till 2013 and then until 2015 as a coaching director ??

I would love to see Steve Folkes there. He is my first option.

Peter Gentle is very very clever and is highly regarded by almost everyone in Sydney. He knows all of our players inside and out especially the Wests Juniors from 2000 - 2005.

Grant Jones is clever but not my choice.

Nathan Brown - Yes definately.

Royce Simmons- Yes, I am a big fan of Royce. He is a top bloke who is way smarter thsn Sheens. People would be surprised as to the rubbish that he had to cop when he was with us that he did not control. I did my first coaching ticket with him and he is gold. He and Folkes together would be great.

Leo Epifania - common sense, smart, gets performance out of his troops, rated highly on Sydney as well.

Steve Georgallis - yes again.

Ivan Henjak - Bloody Oath. Similar style to Epifania.

Rick Stone - For sure but he would never leave Newcastle as he is a coaching god up there.
There are a heap of coaches who would work.
 
I AGREE TOTALLY WITH "BUG"!! Lets not kid ourselves re SHEENS going to Mt-Druitt over night! 2005 was 7 years ago! And we FINALLY made the Top 8 ONCE since! That is a 50% pass mark TWICE as SHEENS being Top Dog! SHEENS FINALLY SHOW SOME MONGREL "TODAY" and advise us FANS who pay ya bills WHAT YA PLANS ARE!! Is it any "SURPRISE" the players performance over the last 4 weeks has been "POOR"!! Sure we have had our fair share of injuries, but, so DO THE OVER 15 CLUBS! In 2005 we were BLESSED with NO INJUIRES & NO ORIGIN SELECTION! I am a PROUD WEST TIGER SUPPORTER FOR LIFE, SHEENS WHAT ARE YOU? I have a HUGE TIGER TATT on my arm to prove so!PLEASE SHEENS SHOW us "TODAY", the supporters some HONESTY with your agenda and NOT LIVE IT OUT IN THE PAPERS!! And BUG, when "FONZ" coached RAIDERS to many GF's please when looking at his record, look at his squad, BELCHER, NOA, MENINGA, CHICKA, DALEY, STUART, CLYDE, LANCE, LAZO, S.WALTERS,TODD to name just a few! SHEENS "ESCAPED" any retort! And now this week Beau Ryan gets selected on the bench,,WHY? Did SHEENS not learn ANYTHING from constantly picking FIZTHENRY on the bench for 1 minute a game LAST YEAR???? In 20 years I will be a TIGER,will you Mr.SHEENS???
 
BingPringle - use paragraphs. I can't be bothered to even look at that but I did read the first line and that is where you probably went wrong. Agreeing with Bug means you don't rate the genius. He bought us a premiership.

Bug - I agree that Peter Gentle might be a good option if the genius leaves but I bet like me you are praying that he stays.

Moltz for fullback and Sheens for lifetime Wests Tigers coach.
