It is time to sack Tim 'The Fonz' Sheens

I have waited 15 hours to post this.

Last night we saw Benji Marshall at half back and Fitz at 5/8.

Unbelievable.

Tim Sheens, you are an utter disgrace as a coach. **Benji is not a half back !!!**

**Fitzy is not a 5/8 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!**

You have ruined players careers and have ruined this great team.

You will never learn. I could saw the look in the players faces when they ran on that they did not have the confidence of the team line up.

Week after week, month after month, year after year it is the same old disgusting selections and positional changes.

You are wrong SHEENS.

We need 4 Powerful players on the bench and better forward rotation. Your arrogance is a disgrace. Your cowardess is as well. You avoided criticism by not posting your team in the positions you wanted them to play. Thats typical of you.

We need power. **WE ARE GETTING OUT-MUSCLED EVERYWHERE AND HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS SHEENS.**

I feel for our players. We have some great players, I mean that. Our players are fantastic, the coach is an absolute disgrace.

Daniella 3 minutes

Another year of this rubbish. :deadhorse:

The day you walk out of this club will be the happiest day of many people's lives.

lol waiting for a thread like this, if Sheens is to stay on he has to make some changes in his selections and to his coaching staff. Imo at the very least Royce needs to go and Folkes be moved up to assistant, i think this should have happened a while ago his use of the interchange is abysmal and our defence over the years has been shot. Sheens picking Fitzy week in week out is a slap in the face to us so called fans, it seems he has a point to prove to every one about Fitzy and is to stubborn to ever admit wrong so will continue to select him just to shove it in our faces.

Bug love your passion all true mate! take it easy you might have a heart attack it will all come out in the wash it's just a matter of time .

Agree 100% Bug he is well past his used by date at our club. You can only stay at the one place for so long, Benett is the exception to this but he had great talent and probably underachieved in Brisbane in number of premierships won. I only hope Sheens does the honorable thing and steps down this year if we don't make the 8\. We can only hope.

So true about the team's look from the start. They were defintely not confident in the selections and look completely disjointed all night. After trying to remain impartial for some time, I have had an absolute gutfull of Sheen's stupid decisions. How he does not cop a decent flogging in the press is beyond me. How the team remained competitve last night is more beyond me.

In fairness Sheens has lost Lui and Moltzen to injuries. No club has the depth to keep replacing like for like if you get injuries in key positions. Next week will be the key, if we can beat the Roosters, a 5-3 start heading into the bye will still be a good start to the season.

I agree to play specialists in the halves, however we looked the same with with Lazurus at half last week. Individual unforced errors killed us last night. Jag a win net week and then hopefully get Lui in, and Beau back to fullback.

I recall from a previous thread that the consensus was Bellamy - who could end up on the market… Other mention of Kearney who I am not particularly keen on. Why not Folkes?

It's Tim Sheens' fault our regular blokes can't hold the ball, try flick passes, always attempting to push the pass in unrealistic situations, show no patience and obviously can not follow the game plan! Yeah thats Tim's fault they lost? Wake up!

Our key players were trying to cover reserve graders in Fitzy and Laz each playing 3 different positions in one game. We had as good as 11 players on the park and some of them tried to force their hand because they had no confidence in the team selection

Jnr Paerce asked Satts at the ground on FOX, "Whats the body language of both teams in their warm ups?"
Satts said they werent out yet but walking past the Tigers room it was very very quiet compared to the Panthers room which was upbeat active and busy

Fitzy would have been the only one I would not have in my team surely there is someone else? Lazarus has shown promise in lower grades but now it is obvious why he has not got a shot earlier? Now injuries are the only reason he has a shot, and who else suitable do we have fit at the moment to do the job? They have to work with what they got? Sure we would still be traveling well if Moltzen and/or Lui were fit but they are not! So we have to wait until we have Lui back at least. Then hopefully his first choice back up is fit in Taumata just in case Lui is injured or does not work out? After then and only then we can start to blame the coach for bad team choices. In the meantime let's look at the individuals who have in the last two weeks do stupid things on the paddock that lead to poor completion rates and give the opposition 6 more tackles at the end of a tackle count after dumb penalties.

Laz was a space filler only and didn't get the opportunity to do a thing because Sheens' plan all week was to use Fitzy in the in the halves in attack and around the middle of the ruck in defence … There is no logic to that surely? Use Laz as a halfback or move Fulton into the halves and keep Laz out, but dont create more problems with other below par players where you dont need to. Add to this that he moves Ryan to the wing after he has played his best footy at FB recently, and I was flabbergasted. Sure Sheens needed a HB and was short but what he created from one problem was bungled mess of fringe players running around key positions. Had Laz played at half for two games, or Fulton or Flanagan played in the halves with Benji for two games, the team wouldn't have lacked so much cohesion nor IMO would they have looked beaten from the start. I am not suggesting that we would have won the last two games with the simpler options, it is the nature of the ludicrous changes made by Sheens that we are discussing.
