Have heard from within the club that, external Clubs are starting to put in some big(ish) offers for Ava Seumanufagai.

Good person and a solid player but is imo a 4th prop in an NRL rotation not a starter and we already have Sue who fills that 4th prop roll and is signed up for next year and some good junior props coming through for the bench roles.

If we sign Matulino and either retain Woods or pick up someone else (though please not Packer) then Ava's best shot is a bench spot and imo I'd rob keep Grant and Sue with the young blokes backing it up.

I'd expected him to leave this year and I dubt we will fight too hard

That's what it should come down to, our pack needs a bit of a shake up. I'd keep Ava. Younger with less injury history he should be coming into his prime as a prop. Tim Grant's best is several years behind him. All comes down to money though.
