Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

Yeah I’m not a fan of Flanagan. Played the victim in the ASADA scandal, and his press conference after that semi final loss to the Cowboys was pathetic. He also recruits vermin like Fifita and Dugan

Weeks and weeks and weeks ago when I said on here Ryan Matterson will come to the Tigers well the person who told me that said that Shane Flanagan will coach Penrith in 2019 on a 4 year contract the person is right about 65 percent of the time

That's an interesting percentage of times to be correct with goss. 13 out of 20?

He also said Luke Lewis was an absolute done deal to come to the Tigers all those years ago and then signs with Sharks

How was their body language?

Haha. I asked him if it was frosty and he said it didn't look like they were upset with each other. He was seated at Pascoe's table.

Cheers CB, hope your dad had a good night!

Anything else happen worth sharing?

Lawrence wants to keep going. That was the only thing that really stood out for me.

I wasn't upset to hear that.

Lawrence took a financial hit to help the club, now deserves a payday

Apparently he was. He changed his mind at the 11th hour.

Proved to be a smart move.

Lawrence was overpaid for many years because of his terrible injury so he would still be a mile in front financialy

He wasn't overpaid, he was worth every cent when he signed that contract, he then suffered an injury that would have ended a lot of people's career while representing the club you profess to support. Then for the good of the club took a pay cut, when he could have stayed on the big money. He has more than earned his $ from the Wests Tigers and will probably suffer greatly from his injuries later in life.

Agree 100%. Chris Lawrence has more than earnt his money. Great footballer, really professional and never been seen nude at a public venue!

Lawrence is a born footballer. Boggles the mind to think what he could have done if it weren’t for the hip injury. Would have made the Morris brothers look like Rankin. Scary.

I may be biased but I thought he was a better centre than the Morris boys who were making rep sides at the time. The amount of tries he was involved in with Tuiaki and Lote was amazing.

One of the best line runners I have ever seen. Even with his injuries.

Agreed. Rowdy owes the Tigers nothing.

Agree 100%, hits a hole better than anyone I have ever seen. Some of the tries Tuiaki and Lote scored because he drew the defence and Benji hit the winger with a long ball were setup by Chirs without him even touching the ball.
