Here's the latest with JAC:

1. He's accepted the offer put forward to him from the Tigers (Best $$ wise compared to others)
2. Fullback bonuses included, (If he makes FB his own the deal would average out to $675,000 P.A)
3. 4 year deal starting in 2022 there ready to sign Nov 1 if deal with Melbourne not reached before.
4.Would be a lie to say if the club wasn't nervous that during this delay there are others trying to get in through the back door. Melbourne don't appear keen on James Roberts & Souths don't have the $$ to match our offer even with Lowes retirement.
5. No idea where Bulldogs name came up into this, no formal talks/offers presented last check.

Cheers mate. Any other possible signings you can mention?

No world beaters, currently depends on 3 things, JAC, Harry & if we can move along the big $$.
On a serious note Packer is still expressing mild headaches due to the last concussion.

Dont wish ill upon Packer, I hope this can turn out ok for him and the club without a life long health issue.

Do you have an update on Sam McIntyre and Alex Seyfarth re-signing @THE_POM?

Both to be confirmed in the very near future.

Pom who are we looking at for 2022 besides JAC and who are our development players for next year?

Pretty ordinary that Packer is experiencing recurring headaches. Hope they get that right before allowing him to take the field again.

Packer should retire for his own long term health if this is an ongoing issue, believe he has been doing his masters in business admin should start utilizing those skill sets now.

I read somewhere that Russ will have a job as a Project Manager with Meriton. Believe he has an MBA so not too many ongoing job issues I would imagine. Very good player at his best.

Seyfarth should buy a lottery ticket.

Thought Seyfarth and Clark were very much the same type of player. Would have hung onto Clark before Seyfarth.

i think madge hung onto seyfath for his physical attributes and size, and also i am preety sure clark has retired from footy to work in family bussiness ( i could be wrong )

Bulldogs reportedly in box seat to sign Storm grand final winger Josh Addo-Carr

The Bulldogs have become favourites to sign Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr, a new report says.

The Daily Telegraph reported that Addo-Carr was a big chance to play for a grand final opponent next season, with Panthers assistant Trent Barrett taking over as Canterbury head coach. Addo-Carr, the NSW Origin and Australian Test winger, is a Barrett fan.

Addo-Carr is seeking a move back to Sydney for family reasons. The Rabbitohs and Wests Tigers are also in the mix for his signature.

It has been reported that he wants to play fullback; it is unclear what position he may play at the Bulldogs. The struggling club has already signed Canberra winger Nick Cotric for next season, though he could play in the centres.

The Storm granted Addo-Carr a release on the proviso that it gained a comparable player in return from his new club. That sticking point will need to be worked out in the ongoing negotiations.

Addo-Carr is leaving all negotiations to his management, aiming to enjoy a winning farewell with Melbourne in the looming grand final.

"I made the decision to put all that stuff behind me and really focus on the finals series," he told The Sunday Footy Show.

"My manager and the Melbourne Storm are really working their backsides off to get this deal

What this report says to me (particularly with the Pom news) is that the Tigers have made the right offer, sounds about right. If the Dogs drop out of the clouds and poach him it is ONLY about $$$ and the Tigers are right and doing the right thing letting it go.

Wont stop a lot of hand wringing here about how terrible we are because we let another one slip, but at the end of the day, to me , the club is going about this in a professional manner.

Don't know why people are suddenly concerned about what drunk old buzz says. He's just making crap up. His article was like a paid ad for the Bulldogs, recruiting everyone.

The digs already spent 650k on a winger in cotric, are they really going to spend another 600k on a second winger?? Especially given other issues they have? Highly unlikely...

They also have dwz on 800k and hopoate on 500k+

ah yeah i totally forgot they nabbed cotric

if the Poms news is true, and we have grabbed Addo for the 635k or under, depending on whether he plays FB or not

thats a massive bargain

When the rumours regarding JAC started, I obviously wanted him to come but was nervous about tying up $$$$ on a winger (as well as a potential repeat of the LM fiasco). Those dollars reported sound spot on and imagine getting JAC for the same price as Dogs got Cotric (hasnt happened yet), that would be a coup.

Im not sure if its some sort of perspective bias, but IMO JAC has really developed in the last few months. He has become more than just a fast guy outside waiting for the pass. He has taken on some tough runs, started popping up other areas etc...dare I say it,, like a FB. I could never previously see potential FB in him, but particularly over the last month I can. Not sure if Im seeing what I want to see though.

The key point IMO is JAC has 'not' be released...and the Storm want a replacement. So, it is open season until then. Their football manager publicly criticised us for our dealings, so it is not like they will want to do us a favour.

JAC wants to be in Sydney ASAP, so you would have to think he will go to whichever club can get him that release immediately.

I think he’s more likely to end up at Souths than the Dogs. And I don’t think he’s likely to end up at Souths.

Idk how anyone could emerge favourites, especially a club who hasn’t really been in the frame. He wouldn’t be talking to anybody atm.

That’s right but he did say his manager is doing the talking

Cotric I read will receive around the figure for JAC. JAC for that reported figure is a very good buy.

Any idea on when JAC will be announced @THE_POM?

Has to be after the GF. You look at it and the Tigers are the only team in it cause Dogs have Cotric I think we got him. BTW love the Instagram acc.
