Gotta love Gus.
He tries.
We reckon that Gus wasnt' actually at the game, but Channel 9 have a clip of his 50 most used comments and they randomly insert a Gus comment, just for effect and comic relief.

Never use to mind his dribble a few years ago. Now generally it's so biased to any panthers it's beyond irritating.

Maguire lost the playing group at Souths and got sacked then said when he got signed here he’d learnt from his mistakes and yet lost the playing group this year.

That's hearsay, you can repeat it all you want, but there's no definitive statement from anyone at Souths about that being the case.

Madge has a lifetime pass from Souths fans because he got them the premiership that nobody else could.

I will take 10 lost playing groups if it delivers a premiership in a 6-year contract run.

Got it from a Souths player so not hearsay. Players won't say it officially because it will affect them commercially

Wouldn't be from the one player that had an issue with Madge would it?

The one who didn't like to train hard?

The one who was dropped because he was a bludger?

The one who missed out on the GF?

The who was buddies with Anthony Seibold and white anted Madge.

Think you need more than 1 player to defame Madge, most of them lie through their teeth.

haha how to say it without saying it 101

Buzz Rothfield warning
“ The reason for Josh Addo-Carr’s backflip on quitting Melbourne Storm was about two things – money and the fact he didn’t want to play for the Wests Tigers.
Storm agreed to upgrade the final year of his contract by an extra $140,000 to bring him into line with the NRL’s highest-paid wingers. He is now on what he could have earned if he’d played for the Wests Tigers.
Deep down, the Blues winger didn’t want to play under Michael Maguire at Wests.
He could only get out of the deal by staying at the Storm and postponing the move back to Sydney.
When he eventually returns in 2022, it will be at the South Sydney Rabbitohs or the Canterbury Bulldogs.”

The coach of Cronulla, Rothfield's pet team, is in immensely more trouble than other coach in the competition. How are they going with luring players to their team?

They got their man in Tolman. Beat us to the punch. They will surely be one club on a big slide. They also have a fair bit of money freed up for 2022 yet i haven't seen any of their great signings for then.

Invisible man? He almost tied the game with his speed! Didn't do much wrong either...

You obviously missed Holmes try.

And with turf toe... (edit) or something

I thought it was the extra contract money slowing him down 🙂

I would have thought not having the weight of all WT's supporters hopes and dreams on his shoulders would have made him quicker than Usain Bolt

Last night he was the fastest man on the planet.

You have to say it 8 times for it to have any effect.

You could see that Gus had taken on the criticism from his Panthers Grand Final bias. He was trying to show QLD some bias but you could see he did not really mean it. He then switched to back to the Blues.
I hope Foxtel can one day cover the GF and SOO live and I never have to hear the Channel 9 commentary team as they are just awful.

If we don't sign everyone that has been scored on... then we won't sign many and should probably get rid of all of our current team ha ha

I was just pointing out that was a dismal defensive mistake. Admittedly none of the inside men marked up but JAC rushed in way to early. We have near crucified Nofo on here for similar.

I thought he just hesitated on jamming in. He normally gets it right

Once they sign Flanagan as coach for 2022 then I'd imagine the signings will come.
They love a good pep talk over there.

JAC spotted touring the Bulldogs training facilities yesterday.
Good riddance.

Hope his career blossoms like Sharon's did there.

Bulldogs will throw big coin at him, more than anyone else most likely. They need a fullback pretty badly, we’ve signed Laurie for 2022 so we’ll probably try sign JAC to play wing but doubt he goes for that.

Or Laurie plays five eighth or wing if we get JAC??
