The first big fish we hopefully land will be getting overs. Otherwise we'll never attract anyone. If he's terrible at fullback he'll be moved.

Absolutely. You dont get a chance like this too often, if any mainstay kangaroo is off contract we should be going all out to sign him. We not strong enough in ANY position to be comfortble with who we have.

I’ve been saying that for a while. Johnston is much cheaper and more value particularly if the 800k thing is true.

What’s the big deal in getting jac the guys a winger playing in a gun side. Down in Melbourne big difference playing in a very average side like ours you’ll see how really good he is then no bodies gunna come to us if we sign jac he’s not that big a signing

He's already played for our 'very average side' and looked good doing it.


Only telling the truth mate we are a very average side I seen jac play for us never really set the world on fire only that he was quick and if McGuire swaps talau (who had a lot of interest from the storm when he was playing sgball ) then he’s crazy

Can't agree with this. I like Talau but his potential is relatively low. I don't think he's going to get much better than he is now.
Tommy seems like a good kid and he's one of a few who put in 100% effort every week. But I'm over mediocrity and rewarding the guys who 'look good in the nets' to use a cricket term.

That’s the one. We have to keep adding good young players. Letting Talau go and spending 800k in a winger would be a huge mistake.

Nick Meaney from the dogs in 350k is a much wiser decision. He’s been dropped and hardly gets a real crack. Staines from Penrith could be a lower cost option also. All are risks but so is the Fox at fullback and a bloody expensive one.
