I’m all for JAC ,at the right price
Let’s pay 650 for a winger who ‘wants to play fullback’
Didn’t contest once against Ferguson last night got folded every hit up he took out of his own half.
He is an amazing winger, but he needs good ball
Our team is not going to give it to him
I think we can all see that.
Yeah want him in our squad I just don’t want to pay him ‘fullback money’ for everyone to asking for his head when we still fail to make the 8

depends on who plays 5/8 if its Doueihi he will get a lot of good ball
have you seen his passing game ?

Very crispy passing indeed

Let the Dogs take Addo-Carr if that's what he wants and then grab DWZ with them paying some of his freight. DWZ on $400k a year paid exclusively on the wing would be good. He was an incredible winger until he thought he was a fullback.

A big pass from me - gone downhill fast.

Addo carr plays right wing at Melbourne
A trade for Nofoaluma could work
It would probably still leave us with enough money for Stains as well
They both want fullback, they can fight it out with each other
Winner gets the fullback spot
The other gets the wing spot
Fail at fullback and go back to the wing

Why are we trading?

Why would we trade a player who has scored more tries this year than JAC?

What's that old saying
Defence wins matches
You can score 20 tries in a season
But if you let 30 in what's the point
David Nofoaluma has played well in attack this year
But its his defence that constantly lets him down
You can blame his inside men but in my eyes he appears to come in off his wing way to much
And he rarely contests the ball on a kick
Its frustrating to watch

Man these comments frustrate me. It happens to every winger in the Nrl. Its Rugby League 101. Stack 1 side in attack and catch the defence with an overlap. Inevitably the winger gets caught coming in.

Blokes have been burning their opposite wingers down the flank for 100 years. Pretty sure most tries are still scored close to the corner. No doubt there are times he could stay out wider, but seriously have a look at every other team and winger. He's not on his post malone

PREACH.

I don't know why people think it's just Nofo.

Going wide the attacking team is looking for an overlap.

spot on, all teams do it if caught short rush up and try and shut it down.

not saying he's a defensive powerhouse but looks worse then it is.

Knights game was 100% benji jamming next to second rower way to close (maybe to pad that MT stat?)

I can’t imagine we’d be signing both Saab and JAC. We have very limited squad spots so if we landed JAC I don’t think we’d sign someone like Saab to sit in reserve grade. He’s going to have zero chance ousting JAC or Nofa unless JAC is playing fullback.

The Club liaison confirmed it this morning. WTs want both.

We have a club liaison? Who is this?

Nothing is confirmed until it is announced by the club. I remain doubtful we actually want both.

He/she stated the signing of Saab was not dependent on theJAC signing. It is in the signings thread CCTW. poster.

And Nofoaluma doesn't frustrate you ?
If Nofoaluma could attempt to catch the ball instead of giving the attacking team a free run, or even put some pressure on that would help
Some times it looks just to easy
When defending some times you have to trust your inside man otherwise you are the one who looks like a goat

This talk about the Tigers looking at Addo-Carr and Saab should give some insight as to Maguires thoughts if true
If Nofoaluma is likely to command more money on the open market, why let him go
Is he that good
Is he worth more money
Is he the top class player we are looking for
If so why even look at Saab

All these questions and no of us know exactly what Madge is thinking
What I do know is this team needs a change
No one should feel safe
Especially those long term Tigers players

Well JAC left prior he is not a club man.
He edges to be paid as a full back but is really a winger. If we sign him I can see him clashing with Madge and then that can effect the overall team harmony.
He is a type of person that only cares about himself take the COVID issues earlier in the year
No thanks to coming back let’s good that Madge is smarter not to psg overs on a winger.

That is the only thing i can see as an issue with JAC with a possible ME ME ME attitude. His covid attitude in ignoring rules on multiple occasions could be a massive problem

I'd really like to see JAC here on the wing at a reasonable cost. I'm not so sure he is the right player for this stage in Maguires team reconstruction. If we had a decent halves pairing and some game controlling leadership I'd say go for it, but at this point I think we have bigger priorities.

i would not offer Nofo anymore than 450k what he is on now his attack is great defence is awful. Good luck to him if he can get more elsewhere,
if we had to pay a premium for JAC maybe the other wing is AJ or Hoffman

We've had the NSW SOO coach on national television advise that not only is JAC a hard trainer, he is great for morale in the dressing room. He sounds exactly the calibre of player we need at WTs. And a player wanting to maximise his income?

Nofo can’t stay on his wing in D.

Have you seen his highlights this year. I mean who pulls off the reverse play the ball like he did?

He and Joey Leilua must be the worst defensive wing/centre combination in the NRL.

I think it was our cap space in the end...we couldn't move on players in time...I may be wrong, but I remember it being something like that
