Not sure what NRL360 version I watched? I saw a player asked some questions and answer them respectfully and honestly. Even calmly. I didn’t see depression nor did I see him wielding a knife. I’m no Marshall advocate but I really question some of the takes from his interview last night

While I don't think it was terrible, and I enjoy the insight - I don't think he needed to come out and say Madge's style wasn't working on the young guys and he needs to find a way to change that, stating he has no idea how he will. While true, he's quickly distancing himself from the problem, a problem he should have been part of the solution for as a senior player. His comments also don't provide much hope for fans of the club.

Yes he has left, but if he loves the club you can be positive about things - even if you don't believe in them, we've just had yet another disappointing season... saying you have no idea how things are going to change just gives the impression of no faith.

There were a few subtle things. It's not being touchy, if you love the club you will back and promote them no matter what.

? you wouldn’t here Nofoaluma talk like that.

I wish we could something, just something, from Wests Tigers management as to where the club is heading player wise in 2021/2022.

It looks bad if the club says we are going to sign players X Y and Z and you get none of them.At least there are no leaks and that is a massive plus for us

Nothing to leak ?

We have always leaked before even if someone changed the scones for the board meetings

Haha Buzz would be straight onto a scone scandal

I have always defended Benji but I sensed a level of resentment last night. He was very measured in his responses as if he was aware of what he was going to be asked and came prepared. Not sure what the future holds for Benji but I would be very surprised if it has anything to do with WTs in the near future.

Easiest way to get former players to speak positively about the club is to bring them in closer, not push them away.

The club has said they will offer him a job after he retires so I think that is not pushing him away.. He needs to accept his playing days are behind him and that's backed up by no other clubs trying to sign him.

I was replying to a post that said they doubted he would be involved in the club in the future and the general theme that he shouldn't be involved.

I wasn't suggesting he shouldn't be involved more so that HE is not interested in being involved.

Possibly he isn't, still think the club needs to find away to get him involved as he will be involved in the media moving forward and it would be great to have someone who speaks about us positively.

Speaking of dreaming, I got to thinking what Madge’s 2023 dream Tigers team would look like, tried to keep players who are performing or have a future with us and add some real Madge-types from other clubs.

Would clearly be salary cap compliant under Roosters rules:

1 Addo Carr
2 Nofoaluma
3 Douehi
4 jarryd Croker
5 tommy Talau
6 Cameron Munster
7 Brooks
8 Aloiai
9 Grant
10 Tamou
11 Isaac Liu
12 Luciano Leilua
13 Jake Trbojevic

14 Wade Graham
15 Shawn Blore
16 Sam McIntyre
17 Zane Musgrove

It’s nice to go to fantasy land sometimes

This is why I love seeing Robbie Farah in the media. He always tries to be positive about us. Even after everything he went through in 2014-16, 2018-19 healed everything.

Ive never been adamant he will be here but I'm pretty confident.

I think souths will let go Roberts and sign JAC hope I am wrong

The thing I can't reconcile is JAC's reported desire to play full back and the confidence of many that he is going to Souths.

I've seen it suggested that he is only floating the idea of full back in order to increase the offers; as if a club would respond by saying: "we already have a full back, but we will pay you full back money to play on the wing". Does that make sense ?

So, either JAC wants to play full back, or he doesn't care. If he doesn't care then he could be a strong chance of going to Souths.

If he does want to play full back, and be paid full back money, then why would he go to Souths?

AJ is a left winger, so is JAC, the souths theory looks likely, but makes no sense in terms of the overall squad balance, and salary cap
