Yeah I certainly cannot see anything being announced until after the grand final. I would think it was probably done weeks ago and the lid has been put on it to allow JAC and the Storm to focus on the finals.

The only uncertain piece is fullback. Halves a work in progress but I'd go with Doueihi at 5/8 and Brooks at half, with B on his last chance.

Watching Storm, he is so effective after Storm have dragged the defence into the middle. JAC will spend all his time with us scrapping for dirty metre coming off his try line. Hope I’m wrong but don’t think so
This has been my stance since the fanboys were wanting to throw the kitchen sink at him... he isnt the player that can change our outcomes. We didnt finish outside the 8 because we set up a heap of tries through a wing option that couldnt capitalise through lack of speed. He isnt a fullback.

What I can see happening if this Crichton situation is legit, is Souths getting Crichton and the Roosters getting JAC. I am not saying we'll definitely get JAC but I am saying that Souths won't for sure.
But realistically I think we'll just get him because we want him, will give him a shot at fullback, will pay him what he needs and we are the club he wants to be at. There's literally no reason we won't get him.

Like clock work.
Said it from the beginning they will retire him, have cash available and sign JAC.

I can't find anywhere that says he was medically retired. It would be a rort if he was because he has had neck injuries as far back as 2016. So its definitely pre existing injury so begs the question of what happens to their salary cap considering he is signed to the end of 2021.
