With all the speculation about JAC could it be that Wests release Talau to the Storm for 2021 to get JAC then he returns to us in 2022?
That would also free up a space for Gebbie on a 1 yr deal.

Wouldn't Gebbie replace Talau in 2021?

Is Gebbie even FG material?

Yes, very quick and strong. Think of Olam but much quicker and with a good step off the left.

Fair enough, we need some speed but I'm not sure the club is interested in letting Talau go anywhere.

To get JAC it may be necessary. Kepaoa looks to me to be a great centre.

Talau has to agree to it...

I remember many years ago this big lump of a player put out onto the wing in reserve grade. He didn't do too much until he had a few games and he became unstoppable. The player was Tuiaki and that was down to recruiting him out of Manly Rugby reserves where he played breakaway. These PNG players learn quickly and are tough. They run the ball with determination and tackle hard.

You lot have lost DA plot...

How hard is it to wait for the official announcement?

His club of choice has apparently changed 3 times in the past 2 days(according to all the experts here and abroad)... Get A Grip

The Tank was Tongan though, not a Kumul.

Face is Gebbie is in his mid 20s and still barely played NRL. Not writing him off but he'd be a backup player if he came and have to fight for a first team slot

I think if we are to get him we are going to need to make a move like this.

What does JAC get if he goes to Souths? Is he going to displace Latrell at fullback? Will he displace Johnston on the left wing?

Yes they're playing roster is stronger than ours right now but if he's smart there's more upside at WT in terms of where he can play, what he can earn and the junior talent we've got coming through over the next couple of years.

Mate, I agree but I believe he wants to play with his mates. I think it really is that simple.

If you haven’t made your debut by 25, you aren’t that good.

It's a little different in PNG. Communication to villages in remote communities is problematic. It is easy to go unnoticed. Reports are that we were after him when he left Souths which suggests we have an opinion on him.

Yes I know Tuaiki was Tongan but he had played very little if any RL. Olam fought his way through and watch him now.

I have my doubts. Just quick.
