Friday is a bit early as he cannot legally (NRL rules) sign a contract with another side until Sunday 1 November for 2022 onwards. Though wanting a signature no later than Friday week is fair enough.

Listening to Jimmy Smith on SEN this afternoon & he made an observation about where JAC was likely to be .
His theory is that the storm won’t release JAC to a current top 8 team to make them stronger . Which ruled out the Eels & rabbits . And that did make sense .

At the end of the day he is under contract there & is only getting released on their conditions .

Just as Manly put conditions on releasing AFB only to a team outside of Sydney .

So I guess that leaves Tigers & Dogs in the frame .

Think we’re at rock bottom in terms of commercial reputation, the only way is up really. If we miss JAC we’re still at rock bottom.
