I don't understand this POV in relation to JAC.

Hi is not legally able to sign anything until 1 November, and even then he is only able to sign for 2022.

Apparently we and his management have agreed to terms.

So what is the point of threatening to withdraw the offer before he is legally able to sign it?

Because we are a laughing stock apparently. No idea why we are supposedly a laughing stock but the other clubs chasing him are not. No one has signed him yet. Some fans have self esteem issues I think.

And some are happy to miss the Semis 9 year in a row. Were all different.

What the hell does that have to do with anything?

I called our Club a laughing stock, you obviously disagree. You can’t defend a Club that hasn’t made Semis since 2011. The last time we were positioned to be active in the player market we butchered it. The guy who hired the 2 fools who’ve screwed us is still in charge, so why will this time be any different

You said we were a laughing stock based on the negotiations with JAC. Explain to me why people are laughing at us, but not at Souffs or Bulldogs who are also chasing him but havent signed him?

After you explain that you can explain what the negotiations with JAC have to do with our lack of success over the last 9 years.

>The last time we were positioned to be active in the player market we butchered it. The guy who hired the 2 fools who’ve screwed us is still in charge, so why will this time be any different.

ummmm.....because the "two fools" who screwed us are no longer here and there are two completely different people negotiating. Is that a good enough reason that it will be different? Was it a trick question?

We’re a laughing stock because of our lack of success, not whether we sign JAC or not. Justin, is that you?

And the million stories about us letting go of Teddy, Paps, JAC and the rest. Another one published today. Why doesn’t the club come out and state simple facts?

“We are competing in a competition that is won nearly every year by either Melbourne or the Roosters because they have an advantage in player recruitment” “they poached our best talent because the league allows it” “we are sick of the media’s obsession with our organisation when 13 other clubs can’t beat these pack of cheats either”

WHat is the link to JAC negotiations?

NSW coach giving us an absolute pasting in the media, can’t be a great motivator for JAC to sign on

Havent seen this pasting, can you point us in the right direction?

People who are disappointed that WT haven’t made the playoffs in 9 years may have some justification for that disappointment if one considers the maths. There are only 16 teams and 8 make the playoffs each year and 8 miss out. 😂
The odds are pretty dam good.

You’re right BAGS, it can’t be good for our reputation when the Blues coach is bagging us because of the way we treated Papi.

Ummmm, my post that you replied to, that obviously got your panties in a bunch was in response to a post regarding setting a deadline for JACs signature.....you know regarding JAC signing or not. That is what we were talking about.

You have just jumped in with some obscure concept about 9 years of no success. Ill give you another chance to add to the discussion, what is the link between issuing a deadline ultimatum to JAC and the last 9 years of no success>

I have no issue with issuing JAC a deadline or not. Because of the woeful way our Club has been managed I’m saying that we are no closer to being a successful side. I didn’t mention deadlines once. I posted were a laughing stock which you mentioned

No you never mentioned deadlines at all. Which is kind of strange, because my post that you responded to was talking about issuing JAC a deadline and how issuing one would somehow stop our club being a "laughing stock", despite the fact that apparently Souffs and Bulldogs arent laughing stock despite chasing but not signing JAC.

Do you generally just jump into conversations with totally unrelated comments?

Apparently defending an administration and regime that is clearly improving the club as a whole , from the ground up , means you’re happy the team has been losing for 9 years . If you are having a tantrum and advocating for everyone to be sacked , because sporting organisations who sack everyone continuously , arnt the very definition of a sporting basket case , then that attitude is the way to go

Actually....under a salary cap system, basically 'everyone gets a turn'. It is designed that way. Even the Titans have made it and likely will again next year. Look at all sports with caps...everyone gets a turn generally.

It actually takes a fairly significant mess to 'not' make the finals in a decade under a salary cap system.

I’m amazed the Dragons, Roosters and Sharks haven’t signed JAC, along with the other Sydney clubs.

Yes Ellery, it takes some skill to engineer missing out of the playoffs. But nonetheless they have done just that. There should actually be a trophy or some kind of acknowledgement for this!

So Dogs just announced Former All Blacks coach as a High Performance Consultant.... Gee wiz Barrett is on fire and not holding back.. I was holding out hope we would still get JAC but I have no hope left now that we get him and its either the Dogs or Souths unfortunately..
We need something to change urgently as the media are only going to get stronger on us moving forward and make it even harder to recruit the quality ones.

I am seriously at a loss of what's going on with the club....
We have never been this quite so either we have got rid of the leaks and announcements are coming or they are packing there desks up and moving on out the back door...
I love this club but I say increase our JAC offer and give us fans something to be excited about because we have sure earned it over the last 10 years..

Justin, just concentrate on fixing the mess you have helped create

Excuse me...the adults are talking. There you go
