Can’t understand not wanting to give them Talau especially now Josh is willing to stay at Melbourne for another season

Unless Talau becomes an Australian level player it will not be worth it. Maybe they think that highly of him at the club

Maybe Talau doesn't want to leave Sydney? Anyway I wouldn't be giving the Storm anything.

Possibly, but sounds like they didn’t even entertain the idea. Who knows, all I know is we have a much better chance of getting him for next season compared to 2022

Feel like this thing about him being happy to stay at Melbourne is his manager pushing us or dogs to get the deal done.

Hey Josh
Don’t be sucker mate .... it’s a game of bluff poker.
We don’t need to give them anything that we want/need to keep.

Melbourne will be quite happy to keep him another season, they get a top quality winger on the cheap it’s much better for them. They can hold out for a swap all season long if need be

Come 2022 the entire nrl will chase him and we will have no chance.

Ha ..... last paragraph is a classic.

Justin Pascoe could not be contacted to comment ...... give them nothing Justin ..... keep the bastards guessing.

I’d love to hear something from him. A few years ago Ricky Stuart walked into a Raiders presser and said straight up we’ll keep losing until we can have some wins in the recruitment game. He was right.

I love honesty.

I just think they want us to do a deal with Melbourne. We are being stubborn and JAC wants back to Sydney. He’ll be getting good money either way

Sucker punch from media drags .... don’t believe all that you hear from those hookers.
JAC wants to be home next year .... no guarantee on where but.
We don’t need to be desperate about that outcome.
As many have said so far .... if he wants to be here he’ll be here otherwise ta ta!!! Go and play marbles with your mates elsewhere.

30 oddmore pages....something happened ....becoming a Wallaby and or joining ESL im guessing ....next will be French Foreign Legion

Nothing has changed with JAC. I said 3 weeks ago that he agreed to terms I don’t know where all this is coming from or I know that Melbourne wanted a player swap but Madge won’t. When they signed Jennings we thought they would have released him. All the talk about South and bulldogs have been rubbish

Haha, yep, always thought this would have more twists than a Hitchcock thriller. It may help the dogs recruit other targets if all these top players are favouring the Dogs as a destination. If only WT had some journos on side to promote us in that way. Haha

Depends which way you look at it. IMO it's da Storms who are being stubborn for demanding a player in return.

Plus I can't see one of our players wanting to make the move south. Otherwise that part of the deal would've been sorted already...

I’m sure he wants to be back in Sydney it seems like a push from his manager to get us scared and a deal sorted but either way Melbourne will wait for their compensation. It is no issue for them to keep him at Melbourne until they get what they want.

He’s happy to be here next year but Melbourne want a swap and we are refusing. If he goes somewhere else I know who’s to blame. Guess we’ll have to wait and see I’m sure it’ll be another few weeks of drama

Why is the heads of agreement null and void if Foxx stays at Storm in 21?
