Mansour in 2021 will be a poor man’s Nofoaluma

If he can score as many tries as Nofo wouldn't be a bad signing for one or two years as a plan B we've signed a lot worse.

We need to give our Younger players an opportunity otherwise they will get disillusioned rather see Nofo and Kepaoa on the wings next season. BJ if performs and Talua in centres, AD and brooks in the halfs that leaves Momi as a possible fullback option as he has the height - Still Thin in the backs if we have injuries.

No to Momo at Fullback

Momo is our forgotten man, He can play and kicks goals

The way Doueihi was striking them at the end of the year, we don’t need Momo.

Doueihi's technique is awful. Unless he does a lot more work, I don't see him a successful long-term kicker.

Not to say Momo would be one either, but I do think he's better than Doueihi in that department.

They're very similar players those two.

AD is on a totally different level, he has the potential to be a rep player. Momo is a fringe first grader imo.

I'd agree AD is head at the moment, but Momo is very much underrated around here.

I've never seen anything of him to suggest he'll be a consistent first grader. I guess we'll see, but I can't see him getting much time in first grade next year.

I rate momo like paul bowman. Never let’s you down and is consistently solid. Not a game breaker but does his job in a team

I rate him as well. He had one shocker of a game where he missed a lot of conversions, but then bounced right back and seemed to find the try line and convert well in just about every appearance after that. A quiet achiever.

Yeah I do rate him, but I'm also a no for fullback.

I’m no genius but I’d say all this stuff about Melbourne upping there off and jac been tipped to tell us thanks but no thanks is all a ploy by his manager to get us to pay more

Are you suggesting player managers are unscrupulous and dishonest?

Momo can start in the centres with BJ and Doueihi can start at 6.

Or a ploy for us to release him out of the heads of agreement to go sign for someone else.

One thing to be said about Nofo, he might not be the game’s best winger, but at least he does quiet deals when it comes to contract time. He’d certainly get a run for other sides in first grade, so it’s not that he doesn’t have options, but there’s not all this rubbish every contract to get him across the line.

He was pretty vocal last time around. Was even quoted in the linked article.

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/wests-tigers-winger-david-nofoaluma-considers-joining-mitchell-moses-at-parramatta-eels-20170412-gvjod9.html

Every single player talks to multiple clubs. Not sure why so many tigers fans get upset when players we want to sign do it, even Nofa did it and he loves the club.

Right but was it more than one comment or one week of articles? He's allowed to explore his options and answer truthfully about that; even Chris Lawrence was advised to make some noise to get his final year with the Tigers.

The JAC situation, its not about how many clubs, its also about how long it goes on for and how unforthcoming he is, almost to the point of enjoying the innuendo and attention. Sure he's a higher profile player and there's the matter of getting the release from Storm, but the whole release request is JAC's initiative in the first place, it wasn't moved by any club.

I’m sure he’d rather it be sorted in a week but Melbourne have made it difficult not sure a player would enjoy being the target of media speculation for weeks on end.

He likes having a laugh but don’t see why he would want the situation drawn out as long as possible and to not know what club he’ll be at next year. The meeting tomorrow will have things mostly sorted I’m sure

People say the Fox would lose at lot of cred if he decided to stay in Melbourne for 21 after all the stuff about family and being disconnected...I say water off a ducks back, he or his spin doctors will tell the world about being loyal etc etc. I say never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Anyway Melbourne will be happy, Souths will be happy and it’s back to the drawing boards for us

Seriously news limited have some major issues with us . When we sign someone we paid overs , when they play slightly underwhelming , we get hammered for it , when they’re really bad , it’s pitch fork time . When we do something good , it’s a footnote at the end of an article or segment , usually, said tongue in cheek out the corner of their mouth .
The only thing I can assume outside of the obvious clicks and subscribers ,is they like to back a winner , evident with they’re all but abandoning Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon after his election loss. After making up absolute dribble to support him whilst it suited their own agenda .
Man if we ever return to the top , those guys would get shut out in my opinion. I wouldn’t give them anything .

It's all a bit bemusing now because it seems each fan forum (of the clubs that he has been linked to) has got someone on it who has spoken to a family member who claims he wants to go to their club - clearly has trouble making up his mind.

I just had a look on the Warren. They are all claiming he is going to them because he grew up a Souths fan and all his family are souths fans...I could have sworn he’s said his a tigers fan on many occasions and so is all of his family?

I’d love us to get him just to wipe the arrogance away from them

Yep was a Grubbitohs junior but he’s stated he grew up a Tigers fan.

Yet we have our chairman coming out and saying ; and I’m paraphrasing “if and when he gets a release from the storm , it would be very positive news for wests tigers and thier fans”.

But you’re right . They’re cousins mates dad who is best friends with JACs uncle , seems way more reliable a source .

shutting them out ain't the answer either as stories will continue. They have a bigger readership than SMH and they have nrl360. When we get back to the top be inclusive of all media maximise positive exposure

He’s a tigers fan. There’s photos of him in our jersey when he was a kid

If the now famous Heads of Agreement has the legal teeth some of our competition for Addo-Carr's signature seem to think it does, we really have to stick to our guns and tell him if he wants to play in Sydney in 2021 it will be with us. If he decides to stay in Melbourne next year to somehow avoid the HOA so be it. If we just roll over and let him walk all over us, it sends a terrible message for other players we might be interested in.
