The way Doueihi was striking them at the end of the year, we don’t need Momo.

Doueihi's technique is awful. Unless he does a lot more work, I don't see him a successful long-term kicker.

Not to say Momo would be one either, but I do think he's better than Doueihi in that department.

They're very similar players those two.

AD is on a totally different level, he has the potential to be a rep player. Momo is a fringe first grader imo.

One thing to be said about Nofo, he might not be the game’s best winger, but at least he does quiet deals when it comes to contract time. He’d certainly get a run for other sides in first grade, so it’s not that he doesn’t have options, but there’s not all this rubbish every contract to get him across the line.

He was pretty vocal last time around. Was even quoted in the linked article.

Every single player talks to multiple clubs. Not sure why so many tigers fans get upset when players we want to sign do it, even Nofa did it and he loves the club.

I've never seen anything of him to suggest he'll be a consistent first grader. I guess we'll see, but I can't see him getting much time in first grade next year.

Thursday is ultimately D-Day for this whole situation. Addo-Carr's management jumped at the 4 year deal offered & thought it was honestly going to be the best deal $$ wise & also the length was just added security, but now there seems to be a few clubs (yes Rabbits) that have come in going we can offer you this much more but only from 2022, this is where the doubt it coming from, all stuff in the media is coming from his management. I have no doubt in my mind what so ever if the deal was revised & money was raised the headlines would change & he will be a Tiger in 2021.
I think he knows how much his reputation would suffer if he decided to stay in Melbourne considering the whole song & dance being made about him waiting to leave for family reasons.

Solution make him Fullback and Captain.
Nil Performance incentives and up the original offer.

We wander for opportunities but we play for family.

In reality see the deal could go 50/50 lets see how our WT CEO/Coach/GM handle themselves with negotiations.
At least we will know by weeks end and we either Sign very good player or we miss out again and questions need to be asked why we cannot attract quality players.

Make him Captain - are you serious???? Sheesh.

Can't be any worst that Mybe - Sheesh Back Russell

It all depends what carrot you have to dangle to get him.
He may not want the Captaincy but stroke the players ego also sometimes works.

I am offering suggestions not negativity, Cheers.

I'm offering Tamou - not a loud mouthed pea brain who needs his ego stroked every
five minutes. No experience at either FB or captain but hey sell WA to get him over
the line. He is just a winger, sooner or later he will prove it to you.

That's pretty harsh Russ.

I rate momo like paul bowman. Never let’s you down and is consistently solid. Not a game breaker but does his job in a team

Its expected, players need leverage. Mansour always just said pay me what you can, where do I sign, and that got him an invite from Ivan to the Abottoir Blues.

FWIW Spoke to a staff member this morning (Non-recruitment). They weren't confident.

In saying that, seems as though the recruitment aspects of the biz are pretty watertight.

Who knows

HOOPER WARNING

TIGERS’ PLAN B IN ADDO-CARR CHASE

Speaking of phone calls, interesting to hear Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe gave out-of-favour Penrith winger Josh Mansour a shout last week.

Does this mean Mansour could be headed for Concord? Possibly.

Pascoe knows first hand what it’s like to be left out in the cold by Ivan Cleary.

With Josh Addo-Carr’s management tipped to officially tell the Tigers thanks but no thanks for 2021 on Thursday, Mansour may well end up under Michael Maguire.

The Storm have reportedly upped Addo-Carr’s deal from $350,000 to $480,000 for next year.

Wests Tigers would be offering JAC around $600,000,

I don’t recall the Storm nominating Momo as the desired swap deal for JAC even though he’s been grazing in their paddock all year - they preferred TT, an unproven talent to date ... that might tell you something.

Confiscate Pascoe’s phone then take him for a long drive, take his clothes and wallet, spin him around 30 times until he’s totally disorientated, hypnotise him to wipe all traces of Wests Tigers from his memory, then hightail it out of there.
Get back to Concord, clear out his desk, insert an anomalous photo into the photo frame, take out the garbage. Then congratulate yourselves.
This guy is holding us back.

Why would anyone not involved in recruitment have any idea what's going on with recruitment decisions? Our team would have to be professional enough not to blabber confidential discussions with people who don't need to know that info. Once anything is official, then you can circulate the news to other staff members.
