After tonight if we don't make this happen there will be a long line of clubs chasing him for 2022... I say we drop the clauses and just pay the man the 750k a season.... He will add soooo much to us as a team, add memberships, assist in recruitment, etc.... The Pom got me a little excited again that we have a chance so lets get this done..

Tuqiri , Sailor , Folau . Specialist wingers . And Jarryd Hayne , as much of a pig of a man he is, the things he did on the wing for NSW , in a time when he faced a team filled with at one point 5 of the 10 greatest players of all time , cannot be underestimated . For reference I’m talking about Slater, Smith,Thurston,Lockyer,Inglis. We had Greg bird playing 6 or Anasta. Just for reference

If you asked me if JAC would be a good fullback at the beginning of the year I would of said NO thanks.. But the way has has played this year and added bulk has just convinced me he is a fullback with the spark we need desperately. Has not lost his speed and seems to be dropping back a lot more and catching bombs (hardly misses now) and you add the energy he brings a team is unbelievable..
I was starting to convince myself we have no chance but hopes raised this week after the rumours and if we miss out now I will even more disappointed then i would of been last week.

One thing I’ve noticed is how differently he carries the ball back. Has stopped slowing down and turning himself into the defensive line and getting dragged back but had started dropping his shoulder and trampling over people. Works really good

The long distance kick chase is exciting to watch. To see the genuinely quick wingers and there aren't that many at the moment take advantage of a play which is unexpected in the NRL. It excites supporters and commentators. I hope we see Staines and Laurie in the top grade soon for this reason.

100% it wont be announced but if we get shut down I think we will hear something in the media..But hope not.
Taking JAC out of it I still think we are building nicely and would not mind Crichton in our team as he is playing excellent.

I hope all ends well for us....the one thing I have said all along and I replied to paws earlier,that JAC will probably end up at Souths because he is very close to Mitchell and Walker in particular...thats why the offloading of players by Souths and the hesitation to get back to us...the big kicker for me was JAC needed to come home for family reasons,said he wouldnt be at Storm next year,signed a HOA with us and next thing he says I can stay another year with storm....contradictory..

He may be torn between two choices for the reasons you mention, but also because his mother is connected with friends at Souths and his father is a staunch Tigers fan.

I think what we can offer JAC if he wants it is a leadership role, more responsibilities and a challenge to make the team look better.

Going to Souths/Melb, he will continue to flourish as a great winger, if he wants more than that then he will have to come here
