Of course he wants to go to the rabbits . He’s a brother , great mates with LM and CW , and is going to a club most aborigines support . I don’t see what the issue is . Nor ,do I care . To me last night proved once and for all he’s a winger . At one point he brought the ball back, got on the outside of his man , had a 3 on 2 , and had the ball tucked into his chest . I don’t think he has the natural instincts . Best winger in the world , but not a fullback.
We will sign players when we win some games. It’s not because we suck , it’s because look at all the scrutiny that comes with being a big money signing by us , you’re labelled the saviour .
We are the New York Knicks of the NRL. Huge supporter base , lots of history , a great place to live , but no one wants to sign because the team hasn’t won in a long time , and the media pressure is enormous. We need to build through the kids . And top them up when they get good .

We effectively knocked out our competition to sign him and forced JAC to honour his contract after his very public '"last game with Melbourne". If anyone should be embarrassed it's JAC.

The club is trying. People can say what they want, have their opinion - but WT are definitely moving in the right direction. I think Madges choice of players (those who have signed and rejected us) are solid. It’s a good mindset. We aren’t catching the big fish yet but it will happen. We have some really good youth and dollars in the bank for 2022; anything could happen and anyone could become available in that time. I should mention if we sign Mansour, I take the recruitment side of my argument back.

He was spot on with the JAC issue, he would of come here if the Storm released him.
Both said it, but JAC stayed at at Storm, he does have a contract with them.
You can’t close deals unless both parties are wanting it, for me, we move on.

1. You can't legally sign a contract before Nov 1
2. He's staying in Melbourne for 12 months
So the HOA is null and void

But, he said WT have signed Daine Laurie for 2022. Hopefully panthers will release him for 2021. He said he us a 'tier 1 sprinter'.

Also said likely to know what Mansour goes today. Which is likely WT.

Josh Addo-Car set to remain in Melbourne as Tigers deal falls through

Origin winger Josh Addo-Carr is set to remain in Melbourne for at least one more season after a deal to negotiate a move to the Wests Tigers fell through.

The Tigers met with Addo-Carr's agent, Mario Tartak, on Thursday in a last bid to work out a way they can snare the Storm speedster for 2021.

However, the Sydney Morning Herald reports Tartak informed the Tigers of Addo-Carr's desire to see out the final year of his contract with the Storm.

Addo-Car had reportedly given his word that should he had departed for Sydney in 2021 it would have only been with the Tigers. It is believed the club will now turn their attention to a renewed bid for 2022.

It's expected the Storm will increase Addo-Carr's deal to about $500,000, with the cap space they'll receive should Cameron Smith expectedly announce his retirement.

That's still short of the $550,000-$600,000 the Tigers were willing to pay him on a four-year deal.

The failed signing would have gone a way to ending the club's miserable finals drought, and even Tigers icon Robbie Farah was been brought in to spice up negotiations.

"He's the best winger in the world at the moment," Farah said.
