Some of the posts on here are outrageous lol. All because some hack on SEN made a prediction. Nothing official yet as far as I can see.

Chammas and the Christian bloke said he staying Melbourne

JAC wanting to stay with Storm for another year is a kick in the teeth to us, but it shows what sort of player he is. He* could have signed with us for 2022 today, or even a week ago, but he has chosen not to.

Great work Tigers in enforcing the HoA (which JAC himself denied, bet he* wishes he didn't sign that now), not letting another club get in from under us.

We just have to get ready to bare our teeth, for we will sign another, someone who will hopefully strengthen our team, and by then it is a real chance that Souths could have room in their cap and JAC tries to go there once we have no space left.

Don't let him, stand strong.

Offical Wests Tigers statement on Josh Addo-Carr

Wests TigersThu 12 Nov 2020, 06:54 PM
Wests Tigers have released the following media statement as there has been much speculation and reporting concerning Josh Addo-Carr and the club.

Addo-Carr is a player currently contracted to the Melbourne Storm for season 2021. Having asked for a release from his contract to return to Sydney on compassionate grounds, Wests Tigers — with permission of the Melbourne Storm — entered into discussions with Josh.

This resulted in an execution of a Heads of Agreement which provided for Addo-Carr joining Wests Tigers in 2021. This agreement was only activated upon the release of Addo-Carr from his current playing contract.

Wests Tigers have tonight been advised by the Melbourne Storm that Addo-Carr will not be granted a release.

Wests Tigers recognise and respect the current contractual arrangements in place between Josh Addo-Carr and Melbourne, and would not seek to interfere in same.

Now let’s all just move on. By getting on the front foot with that release the club is.

Right-o so Melbourne the bad guys as they wouldn’t release him. So, move on all.
I won’t be giving it anymore thought.

My last thoughts-, we should all take note of all of the crap coming from multiple sources that he was signed with the dogs, he was signed with the rabbits etc etc etc.
He was never going anywhere other than us and I still think he was working for more $$ in his final year that he wasn’t originally entitled to.
He may end up at the rabbits in 2022 but I won’t loose sleep over it with the squad we will have then!

Is that the club putting a positive spin on it? Like “He was going to come, but it’s Melbourne’s fault for not releasing him”. That angle falls flat when you just announce his signing for 2022 first.

What an absolute waste of time and energy all that was. JAC just looks like a flog from every angle. The Storm should be dirty on him as well.

It really doesn’t matter though does it. It will all blow over for him and once again we’re the ones that will be painted as the fools.

Watch the media spin this one to make us look like the idiots.

Are we going to put out statements for every missed target now? Talk about amateur hour.

Well, look at the Chairman. Should be an Italian mobster. Seems to put the kiss of death on everything.
