I cant believe we miss out on a test star and some fans think we handled it well. Its a good thing none of us accept mediocracy

Fox at that money and losing Nofa would make us worse in the long term. You make that deal if you are challenging for a title. We unfortunately are not there’s no short cuts.


Just watched the Titans and Bulldogs start taking those very shortcuts that don’t exist.

(1) Yet to be seen how that works out. Titans have signed million-dollar players before and it hasn't worked out.

(2) Yet to see what shortcuts Bulldogs are taking. Signing Cotric and Kyle Flanagan? Doesn't stop them having one of the more ordinary rosters for 2021.

I usually try to be nice but it literally blows my mind that some people can't see the direction the club is heading. We have literally signed most of the ousltstanding young talent coming up in both qld and nsw. We are recruiting youth not journey man. We are throwing our hat in the ring for some of the most dynamic young players in the game.
These have not happened for us in 10 years.

Stop thinking because we try and don't get its a failure. You can't force someone to play here but we are having a real shake.

I saw a bloke kill it on the origin stage the other night... Been winning games for his teams the last few years now

I really think we need a balance of experience and youth but it's pretty obvious we can't attract the elite experience can only attract those after an opportunity

Who will then get their butts out of here in a cloud of dust the microsecond something better comes along ...yet again I'm thinking it is better off for everyone involved this club rolls over and dies

Typical Gladstone type DEFEATIST attitude...obviously loyalty and sticking by your team has no meaning to your character..we all have gone through the rough times with this club..Im willing to let the progress of the club head in the direction it is going atm,it is the most promising it has been in years...

Yes we will miss out on players but we may also produce some quality players ....

Not accepting mediocrity at all...giving the club the chance to be better than it has been for many years with the wrong people in positions they obviously didnt care about except the paypacket...
Madge is doing ok with what he had inherited and is investing in youth...trouble is most on here want it yesterday and dont allow someone who really wants to make a difference the opportunity or time to progress the club in a far better direction...
sorry if I upset you,but we all have an opinion ...I like mine to favour the positive side of what the club is doing so far...

Wests Tigers have released the following media statement as there has been much speculation and reporting concerning Josh Addo-Carr and the club.

Addo-Carr is a player currently contracted to the Melbourne Storm for season 2021. Having asked for a release from his contract to return to Sydney on compassionate grounds, Wests Tigers — with permission of the Melbourne Storm — entered into discussions with Josh.

This resulted in an execution of a Heads of Agreement which provided for Addo-Carr joining Wests Tigers in 2021. This agreement was only activated upon the release of Addo-Carr from his current playing contract.

Wests Tigers have tonight been advised by the Melbourne Storm that Addo-Carr will not be granted a release.

Wests Tigers recognise and respect the current contractual arrangements in place between Josh Addo-Carr and Melbourne, and would not seek to interfere in same.

If we were to sign Mansour, can only imagine that AJ would go to fullback with AD moving to 6. AD is better suited to 6.

AJ has hands like feet i cant see him going to fullback unless he learns how to catch. Could you imagine him under a spiral bomb, he struggles to catch a regulation pass.

If they were Benji's passes that he missed, he would need to have been in row 12 to have had a chance.

Should've clarified that. I wasn't thinking fullback. Would like to see him as a winger or centre.

I believe he is a centre, big, fast, strong one on one defender and great passing. The ball he gave to Brooks for the try against the Eels was outstanding. He won't learn in ISP. He needs to learn in the NRL.
