It's buzz so you never know. One minute he says JAC is off to the dogs and the next he's off to Souths. 🤡

My personal opinion Bennett will go hard for what he wants. It’s his last year at Souths isn’t it. He won’t be looking to leave a legacy at Souths

For many years when Bennett leaves a club it is in a complete shambles and far worse than when he walks in.Also it has been years since he won a premiership while he was with a club (dragons). If i am still alive i look forward to souffs being the cellar dwellars that they deserve to be when the "walking dead" lurches to his next club next year.

People on here go on and on about JA but JAC hoodwinked us at least twice as bad. He and cohort Lattrall had the last laughs on Wests tigers and they are still laughing. Why go on and and on with the JAC and JA threads? It is not going to help our club at all.

😂 the ones who are laughing loudest are Crowe, Solly, Bennett &co. 😂 because it wouldn’t matter what bulldogs or WT offered they know they’re not competing against other clubs.
I listened to Mitchell try to explain why he didn’t take up the WT offer , preferring instead a substantially lower offer at Souths. Much of what he said was not relevant in terms of the chronological sequence. Nonetheless it was interesting listening to him sell to himself. Kinda like the buyers remorse we experience after we buy that red car, because, well it is red. Anyway, it’s good theatre and theatre needs to have characters. Love it! 😝

1. 700-800k - latrell.
2. 300k ?-Johnstone
3. 750k - gagai.
4. 500k - ghraham
5. 500-700k - jac
6. 650k - walker
7. 600-700k Reynolds .

Be close to 4.5 mill for 7 players. I hope souths do get him. It will make there forward pack struggle over next few years.

Throw in Arrow around $800K plus Cook and the remaining Burgess and there is not much left for anyone else!!

Why hoodwinked? JAC got permission to negotiate, we entered negotiations, we made an offer starting 2021, he accepted the offer in principle. Tigers entered negotiations with his employer for a release but would not trade existing players.

Tigers moved on as soon as Storm announced they would not release.

All pretty above-board and it doesn't really matter if JAC was "using" Tigers or not to drive up his price. All bidding parties are being used to drive price, that's how bidding works.

Unless you live in some fantasy land where JAC opened negotiations with Tigers out of love and fidelity alone.

Sick of hearing about JAC ,its like someone had their heart broken and won;t get over it,sob, sob' HE was never going to come here,he is part of the Souths shooting team.

The brotherhood is much bigger than the NRL...JAC ,LM all know how to manipulate things for their own benefit...I said much earlier in this thread that he wanted to go to Souths, and my reasons are as follows....
1.commpassionate grounds the first step to get to Sydney...
2.talks with the Tigers a sign of him wanting to join us was just a ploy(he left here originally on bad terms)
3.Souths starting to move on players to make way for JAC but couldnt for season 2021(hence he said he could stay in Melb one more year.)so much for family compassion..
The people that were enveloped into the JAC rumour were played just as the club was by the manager of JAC...

This sounds plausible to me. But why the heads of agreement? That gets me

JAC watch: Day 100 ... just to mark the occasion

That’s quite a knock... evidently poor JAC couldn’t count past $100,000 and thought we were stiffing him around a million dollars, where he’s now going to accept 1/4 of that and not be able to play fullback. He didn’t realise that Latrell’s number is 1? And he’s only ever been decent as a #2/5. Poor Josh and his management - I only hope he realises that this guy is giving worse advice than his last team and probably wants a much bigger cut. Honestly, feel that a coconut is more intelligent than Tartak, and his clients career WILL stall at Souths.

Storms isolation in melbourne has been an asset Young players with plenty of money in Sydney are open to far more temptation, but in the latte; capital they are nobodys,.Also with the leadership of Smith,Slater and Cronk they were a big familly.JAC and others may not have had the same result in Sydney

Because the brotherhood is actually 2040. My Tigers keeper, lot scarier than JAC’s uncle, who I know for a fact is having his tiny little heart ripped out at the moment... best bit is he doesn’t like Latrell anymore. The Koori knockout would be a good place for Josh to be when a few of the local community elders are willing to voice their opinions on the examples being set.

He’s bringing untold shame and desperation to his people whether he realises or not.

I'm thinking it was a fall back if Storm didn't give a pay increase and let him go, maybe they wouldn't have if they knew it was Souths?

It was only for 2021, he can then go to where ever he chooses in 2022 and beyond.

The bit about 2040 was a joke. His family, however, have serious issues with Latrell Mitchell... I trust you not to go spreading this info but to discern if/why that may be the case.

Comment about the elders refers to fact that in my community lots now find Josh to be disrespectful (as many as 50% of his relatives who support us) and the fact that some of his deliberate actions lately have damaged my image of him; has his own mates willing to call him out for that, or at least willing to give him a run for his mouth at the Koori Knockout?

All of the above highlights that he’s not being warned about a very real potential backlash. It’s either the way he’s being managed as a bloke or a total ‘stuff you’ to his biggest mentors.

His whole demeanour shows that he thinks he's above all else. He's hardly humble. The kind of bloke that one day will get a smack in the mouth and he won't know what hit him nor understand why.

And there is no need to be worried about me spreading info about him. But you do realise that this forum is a public one rignt?
