In all honesty, Bird is definitely worth investing in for us. However, I thought the same about Naden.

Wests Tigers is delighted to announce the signing of St George Illawarra Dragons utility, Jack Bird, on a two-year deal.
Bird, who is 29 years of age, joins Wests Tigers after playing 156 games over nine seasons in the NRL, including a premiership with the Sharks in 2016.
Bird will link up with his new teammates when pre-season training begins in November.
Wests Tigers Coach Benji Marshall is excited to have Bird on board.
“Jack is a very talented player, a very good person, and we’re thrilled that he’s decided to join us,” said Marshall.
“He has achieved a lot in the game and brings a wealth of experience to our young squad.
“We all look forward to welcoming Jack and his partner Mirae to the Wests Tigers.”

I reckon he'll be good. In fact I'll bet now he gets another year added on at some stage. He's a footballer.

If he stays injury free he’s a good signing, and we didn’t pay too much that if he is injured we won’t feel dudded. Also some young guys that can cover him.

Some speculation his contract is for around $375k per season which is good business I reckon.
Turuva will likely play centre too based on the Montoya talk so he's likely to be 2nd row as a replacement for Bateman

Eh Bird played 14 NRL games this year and last. Had an ankle injury this year and played 4 games in NSW Cup. He was available for the majority of the season. I think his injury issues are slightly overhyped. 18 from 24 games isn't a bad turn out.
He obviously has to manage some things with his body, but he seems to be able to get himself out onto the field for
the most part.
