Jack Littlejohn to Join Tigers 2016

hmmm doesn't make too much sense, not only do we need a centre, but as others have already stated…............we got rid of Martin.........

I posted a story in the other Jack Littlejohn thread but it was deleted.

To sum it up - I went to a Manly NSW Cup game a few weeks ago in Newcastle.
Jack Littlejohn was extremely "lippy" with his coaches and the staff, doctors, etc when he had to come off for a concussion test.

He was swearing at them + team mates throughout the game. He appeared to be unliked by all… He looks like a demanding player on and off the field. They were getting smashed so it could have been frustration but from comments the coaches & staff made - this appeared it wasn't the first time.

I am not impressed by this signing, this guy is a pork chop.

It is reported that the Tigers are buying Jack Littlejohn for 2016 from Manly. Does anyone know who he is? If so is this a good or bad thing? And how if we couldn't keep Martin?

Littlejohn is a similar player to Blake Austin from what I've seen , without Blake's size or ability

Would that be a fair assessment ??

The article states "Jack Littlejohn: The utility half is a Roosters junior who played Holden Cup under Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor in 2011\. It’s understood the 23-year-old half has agreed to reunite with Taylor and join the Tigers in 2016, where he’ll likely be on his last chance to crack it at NRL level."

Wouldnt have been someone I would have signed ….... but who knows .... if something happens to Brooks, he may be able to fill the void.

And we couldn't sign martin for $85k WTF?

Martin could very well be a great first grade halfback. He wasn't going to get that opportunity here. We could have offered him more than 85k but he knew his best chance to play first grade was to go elsewhere. And by proving himself in first grade elsewhere his next contract will be much higher.

I think it would be a possibility we could lose Liolevave as well once his contract is up, as Martin is gone…

With all due respect to JL….he is just another in a long line of nobodies this club regulalry signs, will pass into oblivion in the near future

We are told the cap is full, a week latter we buy a back up half back, okay he probably is on the basic second tier contract but it is still money that could be directed at our real short comings and of course he will not see first grade bar injuries or suspensions no matter how bad the incumbents are going

At least he has a highlight package, I saw more in that 4 min vid then 20 rounds of Brooks and Moses.

You can't compare under 20's highlights to the nrl!
