That sums it up perfectly CB! Don't you love a farce? The clowns are running the circus…. 😕 😕

We are told the cap is full, a week latter we buy a back up half back, okay he probably is on the basic second tier contract but it is still money that could be directed at our real short comings and of course he will not see first grade bar injuries or suspensions no matter how bad the incumbents are going

If he is second-tier, it has no impact on Top 25 salary cap?

I have no trouble singing up randoms if they are outside Top 25.

If true, he's drinkwater's replacement, and not on an nrl contract. Our NSW Cup side will sign players for next season to replace what they're missing. This has no impact on the salary cap (unless they play NRL then the 2nd tier cap comes into play)

Martin probably would have wanted an nrl contract, even if he was still playing nsw cup. That's the difference.

God, I hope we don't sign Jarred Hayne. We need secondrowers and centers. Waste of money from these dopes who are running the club!!!

And before the dribblers start weighing in, Hayne is a fullback, pure and simple.

From the highlights package he seemed to waltz into very large holes, he won't have such luxury if he ever makes it into the NRL. I liked his kick chase though, i like a half who will is the first man to his own kick, ala Thurston, id like to see Brooks do this more, it lifts your side for that entire set of six and even though you haven't got the ball you end up in an attacking position with your defence. Not many people realise that if your defending and the opposition are carting the ball out of their danger zone, the defending team is actually deemed the the attacking side.

Littlejohn is a similar player to Blake Austin from what I've seen , without Blake's size or ability

Would that be a fair assessment ??

Ah happy. Were'nt you one of the people on this forum who were going crazy when we signed Austin?

My apologies if you were not. However, Austins signing was greeted with derision and mirth. Now he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Go figure.

True I was a doubter Col

At least I cop it sweet when I am wrong

I don't think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread though , but if he develops a good passing game he could be anything

And one of the games nice guys

And we couldn't sign martin for $85k WTF?

Go figure hey

I can figure it, he is a former protege of Taylor. Management and Taylor are confusing the hell out of WT supporters. What game are they playing? Can somebody please, please provide the floundering supporters even a tiny, non-ambiguous, clue as to what is left in the CAP.

At least he has a highlight package, I saw more in that 4 min vid then 20 rounds of Brooks and Moses.

You can't compare under 20's highlights to the nrl!

As Moses and Brookes would know.

He is a nsw cup signing.

Nothing to do with the salary cap mess or Te Mare Martin.

Michael Chee Kam Also joining the Tigers for 2016

Born 26 February 1992 (age 23)
Auckland, New Zealand
Height 189 cm (6 ft 2 in)
Weight 103 kg (16 st 3 lb)

Position
Second-row, Centre

Chee Kam was the hottest property in the u20s a few years back and turned his back on the Raiders to sign with Manly. Injuries have not been kind to him, but he has never been able to make the grade at NRL level. Could be a good signing and really what have we to loose

He was a gun for Canberra in the under 20s and then never kicked on into first grade like most expected him too.

Havn't seen him play of late, and would be interested in hearing from those that have.

Hell Yeah!
I've been throwing his name around for a while now and it's all coming true.

He could be anything (Chee-Kam)
Hopefully he is a missing piece of the puzzle for us!
