Impressive young man.
Noted Matty said Roosters said he had an attitude problem when he left.
Jackson said he's always kept to himself and sat out of social type settings which he could have done differently to be more accepted by the team.

Its good to see it keeps it real and says it how it is without any excuses.
Interesting about his dad/mum talk. My better half fell in love with him instantly over that part of the convo.
Yeah he spoke so well about his mother.
Legit said he was ashamed cos of all the talk about his father, who he isn't close with.. and his mother was more deserving of the credit as she sacrificed a lot to get him where he was.

After he paid out of his own pocket to go up and be with the team, you saw him walking around the dressing shed helping and encouraging his mates.
I could see a selfless man right there.
If he lives up to his potential, he would be a good captain/ambassador for the club.
A good role model for kids coming through who are either insecure or the opposite, cocky!

I think at the moment he is a walk up starter for captain next year.
He is leading from the front in everything he does & his off field presence is something we have needed for a very very long time. AD and no one else at the club can do what he does & has the ability both on and off the park.

Have you had a sneaky suspicion that all that was a set up to put Jackson out there to get good publicity, if it was, it certainly worked.
I think he and AD is all we need for the job.

I don't mind the leadership group idea now. Those two have to be in that group though.
I don't like the players they've selected.
I think AD and Hastings are all we need.
Maunalo shouldn't talk and Brooks won't be here next year - hopefully, along with Tamou. Peachy is a halfwit. Nofo is more deserving than all of them.

Hastings does talk like he's changed but after a few years of employing people and renting a couple of houses, past actions mean a lot more than words. I'm not a big believer in redemption stories (from experience) as 90% of them turn out bogus. Let's hope Hastings is in the other 10% !
