I don't get this but it's cool.
Sure lots of halves come up with dud plays. I want to see us making the 8 and being a threat in the finals.
We aren't going to do that unless our halves are killing it.

Don’t hear you talking about Jacko’s missed field goals. Nobody plays perfect mate, especially guys who have to make the big plays. How does this excuse some of Brooks dud passes on the weekend ?

Poor pass dropped by Seyfarth - Maybe Kelma goes through untouched and scores on that play there?Don’t hear you talking about Jacko’s missed field goals. Nobody plays perfect mate, especially guys who have to make the big plays.
Passed it too hard. In the past the team probably don’t defend that set and brooks looks like a goose. Amazing the difference when the team is doing their job.Poor pass dropped by Seyfarth - Maybe Kelma goes through untouched and scores on that play there?
Wasn’t intended for Seyfarth though.Poor pass dropped by Seyfarth - Maybe Kelma goes through untouched and scores on that play there?
Yeah if you watch the replay you can actually see it was intended for T'oa - Seyfarth got in the wayWasn’t intended for Seyfarth though.

Man it's so good to see.I wouldn’t be changing the 7 & 6 around if Hastings and Brooks play like that consistently
Maybe we should all live in a world where everything is so perfect
Those who are overly critical on those passes have either not played the game or have never paid attention to the job of a playmaker. He is trying to create space and isolate defenders for the next man, and it went wrong. It happens. If you don't attempt those passes, you'll never create any panic in the opposition's defence. You obviously haven't been watching the incumbent Australian halfback lately?
Funny - Every half in the comp throws a dud pass - Most more than a few a game....
They win, The world goes on...
Brooks does it - He gets tied to a stake and everyone is grabbing the jerry can and matches...
It's beyond a joke.
Hastings is trying to give Brooks as much confidence as possible because that's the kinda guy he isHastings must be a liar then ... I did think Brooks played better against Parra though
I'm not saying he's been bad, I think saying we have the best halves combo in the competition is over the top hahaTake the hatred hat off. Probably one of the in form five eighths in the Comp over the past fortnight
Extending brooks would be a massive mistake - it's two weeks of half decent football. Would be insane to extend him based purely off that. They compliment each other well, And as an overall monetary value - They're on par with most clubs...
Both need to be extended for a couple more years on closer to market value for both.
You are saying that like it's a bad thingHastings is trying to give Brooks as much confidence as possible because that's the kinda guy he is
I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all but Hastings is saying Brooks was our best player in the last two games which quite simply isn't true, he's just trying to help Brooks. You are saying that like it's a bad thing
If Hastings unlocks Brooks and we keep winning, I see no issue tbh. Isn't it a team sport?
Pumping him up.I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all but Hastings is saying Brooks was our best player in the last two games which quite simply isn't true, he's just trying to help Brooks.
Nothing wrong with it I just wouldn't take what he says as gospel haha
Just look at the amount of touches he's having per game - over 100 times against Souths which is massive for a halfbackPumping him up.
I get what you're saying.
Trying to make Brooks feel safe and secure.
Jackson is taking this team to the next level.
All on his own back.
He's a true leader and the Brooks support he's showing on a personal level is really working.
Its great.
