Jackson Hastings #251

Realistically if the club doesn't view him as a 7 ethically they should just release him pretty unfair to turn him into a tough 13, body changes ect if he's not mentally up to it just let him go.

Again tho, would want a replacement half as depth. We haven't really replaced madden ?
Probably Will Smith.

Is organising half another word for ball hog?

Really, what does organising half actually mean? It's just a term that sounds good, how many 40/20 did he do or plays to turn the game around?
It means , give the ball to me coz I’ve got 1/2 an idea what to do with it, but you don’t have any.
And whatever you do, don’t try and kick or ask for a Captains challenge, you meathead !

Pascoe doesn’t have the makings of a Rugby League Club CEO. His background is AFL and that’s where he belongs.
Just read his cv on LinkedIn. He only did 2 1/2 years at the Western Bulldogs( 2005-7) so wouldn’t say his background is AFL, as we also know he came from Penrith to Tigers.
In addition has had a fairly diverse career in some large organisations, I’d say his background is corporate more than anything but been with us over 7 years.

I think most coaches these days give the team a few spots on the field to get to and then allow their best players to play eyes up footy. The days of excessive structure are gone. The playmakers need to be able to read the play and pick the most appropriate play for the moment. It’s very unorganised.
That’s where brooks struggles.

How often and evident has it been that weve seen Brooks... Usually late in the set, not call a play, therefore no one else knows what's going on... He runs it either crossfield or diagonally towards the blind side only to run into a dead end... He props.. then heads back infield to be smothered by defense

Still doesn’t make him qualified to be CEO of a Rugby League Club. He has been CEO of the worst years of Wests Tigers. Much of it his making. He needs to be elsewhere.

You need someone leading the way.....if the commentators are saying theres no talk thats never a good thing
Not sure if you have ever been to a major semi or grand final but you can't hear a thing. I couldn't hear my missus sitting next to me. You can bark what ever orders on the field you want , there won't be to many players hearing it.

The difference in LBAs and TAs was noticeable which is relevant with the style of football Sheens, Marshall and Faran want the team to play.
See your point, so I guess what we’re really saying it was good analysis, still to be proven in 23 depending on style. I can buy that.
But just to have that data available I thought was astute. I hadn’t seen it before.

I think it comes back to the circle of management and where his influence starts and ends.
If you’re saying the club is in a bad way financially/administratively incorrect. Finances good, hat sales up, CoE built/opened under his watch.
If you’re saying the club is in a bad way
operationally, correct. But did Pascoe oversee every poor decision, partially.
Between you and I, I don’t think he’s going anywhere at present, so let’s just see if he ( and the whole club) have learnt anything from past mistakes, and can turn things around.

I’ve always thought you need some leadership tactically ( what plays we’re going to try, based on observations),positionally shouldn’t come into it for first grade footballers.
