He didn't pass off the ground once I reckon. Very very slow service, it's a worry he can't do that simple yet integral part of the game

Liddle didnt have anything organised from dummy half,most times there was noone there to pass to hence the delay

I've never seen a player who has done so little have so many excuses made for him. He was behind the pace today, which is nota surprise given how long it has been since he played, but still.

Too early to write him off but he was very poor today.

I dont think Simpkins is ready. That trial the other day. He was good but raw. He nearly passed the ball forward a few times and got pinged here and there. He does run it though so thats a plus.

Maybe it was because of the fact it was raining ? And the ball , this year feels like a cake of soap apparently, when wet.

All the other hookers seem to be handling the rain fine. There's no excuses for it, his service sucked.

Very underwhelming but will have to persist. He needs half a season of 80 minute football. Hookers take time to develop and our 1/6/7/9 we need to persist with to build combinations.
