Jacob Miller to Hull?

Yep I would say needs a full yr in nsw or qld cup first just to get him used to the size and defence of playing against men. It worked wonders for daly cherry Evans -have him train with the fg squad full time but play nsw cup for a year

Massive Miller fan,

The guy will be a star at almost every other club in a few years. I Dragon Bro in laws both said they'd take him in an instant.

5 games in a row and he will show the world how good he can be.

Tedesco =1
Marshall = 6
Miller = 7
Farah = 9
Sirro = 13
\
\
Molz / Anasta = 17

Thats some spine

Haha. Glad your inlaws are an authority on this Guys future. Puhlease.

contracts , please , how good are they , lock him in , tigers do not know how to do this

Well, contrary to opinion, contracts are legally binding documents. The money still has to be paid by someone ala Michael Jennings.

Seems Anasta stiched him up a good one

Does Miller have English Grandparents or something like that so he wouldn't be a visa player ?

That probably shouldve happened this year….he had a year in 20s last year too?

Iwould love to see him get six or eight games straight in first grade & give the kid a chance, as i think he has the talent to make it in first grade & what do we have to loose?. also this means Benji can move back to his favourite position.

x2

May be a good idea to start him in nsw cup though.

It's hard to imagine Miller being moved on now. Under Sheens perhaps it was a fair chance but a new coach is surely going to keep him for 2013 and form his own opinion on Jacob. He clearly has a good skills for a halfback and the potential to succeed at the next level.

It's going to be VERY interesting to see how the new coach values all the players. We might very well see Miller get the 7 and Moltz pushed back to reggies.

I certainly think Miller is a better option at 7 than moltz and Teddy is a better option at 1.

Exactly hammer. It could be VERY interesting. It's widely been suggested Sheens had his favourites. A few players may cop a rude awakening come round 1.

On Foxsports coverage today, post game, Braith Anasta interviewed Jacob Miller. At the end of the interview, instead of saying "See you at Preseason training mate", Anasta wished Miller Good Luck when he moves to Hull next year! Miller looked amazed and said something like "Not sure about that"! Any news anyone?

This has been mentioned elsewhere. However what Miller replied was " that might not be happening
now"

Interesting comment seeing that Sheen's has now gone.

Lets hope so Col,Sheens didn't give him a fair go,but hopefully the new bloke does,after being captain of a premiership winning Toyota Cup team,he feels an affinity with the club and stays,he is contracted for next year but Tim was letting him leave early.

Millers response re Hull to Anasta was interesting as he gave the impression either he or the Club were having second thoughts about him going.

I thought it even more interesting when I read in the DT today that Benji is being linked to the Dragons. Have the Tigers got wind of this? Are they considering letting him go?

This may be something the WT would consider as it would free up 550k per year in cash and salary cap (enough to pay for Miller ,Sironen and Anasta) It would allow them to focus on retaining Farah whom it could be debated is the real match winner on a more consistent basis.

Is Benji disheartened at the Tigers now Sheens, Ryan, Heighington, Ayshford and who knows who else are going? If so it may be better for all if he moved on. If Sheens goes to the Warriors would Benji follow him home?

I personally could see Miller and Sironen in the halves being mentored by Anasta from a backrow spot (now open with Heighingtons departure) as a viable option for the next few years and beyond.

Don't get me wrong, I love Benji and would hate to see him go and I know this theory is sounding like the Pelican Brief but at this point nothing would surprise me.

I think miller is a real good little player who needs a bit of polish to his game hopefully the new coach either folks or walters can see this and retain him,look at reynolds at souths give the kid a crack albeit reynolds seems like one of those special players that come along every once in a while.

On another note did anyone happen to hear comments about some kid coming though holy cross sytem who i think johns said reminded him of him i only breifly caught it if someone else could elaborate.

Doc, the player you're talking about it Luke Brooks. He was in Balmain's premiership winning SG Ball side this year, and captained it too if I'm not mistaken. Should be in Toyota Cup next year

Just graduating now. If he turns out to be an NRL player, he's years away. Literally just a kid at the moment.

ALSO, on Adam Reynolds. He plays behind the most dominating forward pack in the NRL (Look how Sandow went behind them). Millers role is tougher, playing behind a forward pack which in all honestly only ever matches the opposition forward pack at best.
