I don't know how anyone has the nerve to be upset at him. He was about to re-sign and then all the HBG drama happened. Can't blame a bloke for making sure his future is secured. This isn't the most stable place, is it?
 
Tigers should put their final offer on the table now, if they have not already done so and tell team Bula you have ten days to make a decision if not there is no offer and 2026 will be your last season in Weststigers colours. This can’t be allowed to drag on into the season, the club also needs time to groom or buy a replacement.

I know making deadlines can have negative results, but it dragging out will have bigger negative effects

Historically we suck at poker...and we really need to keep Bula.
Im a bit torn on this we DO need.to get it done before the season but i also dont wanna antogonise Moses...its a bit of a delicate situation it seems. But we have to be firm as well.
Cant imagine how Bemji puts.it to the back.of his.mind at training everyday

Or it’s something silly like Bula will only agree to a long term if he has a ‘get out’ clause for every year, while the recruitment committee have offered an increase on the $900k with no get outs.??
It would be just like them to not realise they’re backing themselves into a corner and paying extra for it.

That playbook has never worked for us. Our only way to apply pressure is, if it drags on, to start talking to other fullbacks. If we have one ready to go at bulas level, then play that card. But otherwise, look after the kid and give him the time he needs.

He needs to want to be here.
 
Is that what they tried With Woods and co ?and they all walked except, you all know who "the bbq boy" isn't it?
Give Bula his time,if we are winning and he's playing a part in that, sweet he should stay and we'll pay him his worth and or if he gets injured or isn't living up to his potential this season off to the red V🤷 .

Benji must have some inkling what's going on in the background.
Which beggars the question----------who is training in the FB position.
Or who is training in the opposing FB position? Anyone know?
Having said that, Benji under pressure to win games so needs to play Bula 2026 at a min.

gold fish bump their heads, turn around ,n just want something different.
Richo kept it positive on resigning - we lost most.
There is no need for either party to ramp up negotiations yet
