I would honestly try to get Onitoni Large back he left before and came back


I think he would be an outstanding fullback he is tall lighting fast steps kicks and is a ready made ball playing fullback and Big Mac is his friend

That would have been my long term plan before we let him go.
The issue was we moved him to fullback in a Jersey Flegg game and there were reports he or his father demanded he only play in the halves.
I think it’s likely we have not yet re-signed Jahream as we are only willing to pay him 900k to 1 million per season until the end of 2028 as we want to check and see he becomes an elite player before committing to him on a big money longer term contract.
I think we need to stick to our guns as Jahream has not yet proven himself to be value on a long term 4-5 contract on 900k to 1 million per season.
Obviously if he comes out and plays better than ever helping us to our fair share of wins early this season, that could quickly change and as far as I’m aware that is pretty much what we have advised him.

We have a lot of player coming through that are close to braking into 1st grade. As we have seen in both trials. Spending 1mill plus on a Bula replacement (even short term) wouldn’t be wise IMO.
Heamasi Makasini, J.Andrew, Haywood, Attard, ect will all need upgrading soon

No doubt. I dont want Bula to leave, he is class. Just saying I wouldn’t spend 1mil plus on a fullback outside the current squad. If we do then we might be waving goodbye to the next lot of kids.

Could be. let’s see how Alex goes for Balmain this year. Has speed and can move. Bula is good at organising the defence and good generally good in the air (apart from that one mishap in the trial).
